Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast attendant kept up with the demand very well.

For the room rate, room should be made up daily during a guest’s stay.

About as close to the Sand Dunes as you can get but conveniently located near lots of chain stores and local restaurants. Our room was nice, breakfast options were great, and friendly staff.

The Hampden Inn will always be our go to place whenever we go to Alamosa. We wish all hotel rooms were configured that way, spacious & comfortable. It worked out well for a family of 4. 2 queens and one pullout with a credenza separating the beds providing more privacy for all. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was great.

Nice hotel with good breakfast, comfortable bed and friendly staff!! My only complaint was our bathroom was not very clean—there was a prescription pill on the floor, dark hair in bathtub and floor, soap scum in soap tray in tub, and toilet wasn’t very clean. We were almost completely unpacked before we noticed the bathroom so I just cleaned the bathroom myself and mentioned it to the front staff the next morning. They were very supportive in the situation and had wished we would had told them the night before so they could have moved us to a new room but I explained we were already unpacked and after a 10 hour drive, we were just too tired to pack up again, move our stuff and unpack again. I use to clean houses in college so I can clean fast and just cleaned it myself with the body soap and bleach wipes that I travel with. Overall, I would stay at this hotel again and recommend it to others.

Furniture was dusty and window was smudged so bad that you couldn’t see outside. The whole room didn’t feel very clean.

Very spacious, clean room. Kind front desk staff. Great complimentary breakfast. Convenient access to town. This was a perfect and relaxing place to stay after a day at the sand dunes. We loved our stay here!

Nice hotel and friendly staff!

A clean hotel with comfortable beds perfect for an overnight stay. The staff were polite and friendly. There was a wide variety of breakfast options available. The hotel was located at the end of the city (traveling from Great Sand Dunes), making it quiet and peaceful. Although it had an EV charging station, it didn't work, which was a little disappointing.

Nice, well-maintained inn with pleasant staff. The location proved ideal for our travelling itinerary. Quiet, clean rooms with comfortable beds. Hampton Inns also offer a number of breakfast choices for their guests: a good way to begin one's day.

Quick drive to Adams State. The fitness room was clean and well-maintained. The pool area was a little less so but not bad. The room was clean and comfortable.

Good experience. Hotel apparently short staffed, on a 2 day maid service schedule, so had no maid service on a 2 night stay…

All areas of the Hampton Inn were immaculate. The room was spacious and was adequate for our two grandchildren and ourselves. The beds were comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly. The area was pleasant and quiet. We enjoyed the breakfast.

Very clean and nice stay, they only thing we were disappointed in was the pool. Very small space and pool!

Front desk staff very helpful

We came to Colorado to visit my son. The young man at the front desk was very helpful. He explained where we could find the pool, laundry area and also informed us of what time breakfast would was served.

A newer hotel located on the main road and close to restaurants.

The hotel was overbooked and sent us to the Fairfield across the street. The breakfast at the Fairfield was was terrible and there was no food for about 20 minutes. The reason I booked that Hampton was the rave review on the breakfast.

Hotel has always been pretty good!

Scott, the manager was a great guy and very helpful.

We were supposed to stay at the Hampton but because EXPEDIA over booked we got pushed to the Fairfield. The pool was so full of chlorine our eyes were burning and we could barely breath, coughing constantly. Only able to stay for 15 mins. Then the breakfast was already out of good 45 mins before breakfast was set to be over. Not a great experience for what we paid for. Oh and the shower floor was brown and looked dirty.

Quiet and clean

The scrambled eggs and red potatoes at the breakfast were the best in any hotel we've stayed at! Please pay our compliments to the wonderful woman that serves the breakfast!

Overall it was a decent, safe, quiet place to sleep.

The manager was amazing! He dressed professionally and was very caring and responsible.
