The hotel is as close as you can get to the Great Sand Dunes NP in Alamosa. While it's very no-frills, it's clean, it's got great water pressure in the shower and the beds are comfy. We were there to see the Sand Dunes and to hike; we weren't expecting to stay at the Ritz. The staff were courteous and very kind to us. Parking was free and plentiful

Nothing. As long as you know what you're getting and the price is good - there's nothing to complain about.

The staff was very nice, and the rooms were perfect in that the beds were comfortable, and there was even a fridge and microwave.

The air conditioning was garbage, and we struggled to sleep because it was too hot. We set the air conditioner to 70, then 68, then 66, and it just tried all night long but could never get the room down to a comfortable temperature. The shades were also not nearly dark enough and let a lot of light in. Also, breakfast consisted of some boxes of cereal with some of that fruit soaked in sugar juice. No eggs, waffles, bagels, toast, or even black tea.

The room was clean and comfortable. The front desk clerk was very kind and pleasant to work with.

The continental breakfast was quite limited with just oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, fruit cups and small packaged pastries. It would have been nice to have some fresh fruit, toast or bagels.

It was a great starter breakfast with juice, yogurt, coffee, and a small pastry. Cereals were also available and we took a fruit/nut bar for the road.

Since I'm a walker, a sidewalk or safer access to the nearby park would be nice.

Room furniture was beat up and dated. Hall trim was beat up. Shower pressure was weak. Front desk not knowledgable re: things to do and restaurants.

That the room was very affordable and the room was very clean and the bedding looked new, clean and was comfortable

The breakfast was ok. I would have like a toaster and bread to toast and a non dairy milk. I am both gluten free and dairy free due to allergies and the breakfast did not offer many alternatives

TV reception wasn't good .

perfect location to visit great sand dunes. room is clean, good compromise price/ quality. staff really nice and helpful!lots of restaurants around the hotel.

there is nothing really for breakfast. better go outside. very thin walls..
