The hotel needs to update its rooms, there is mold in the bathroom sink, you can tell the place has wear and tear and needs updating. Our toilet chain broke and had to be replaced, the hotel took care of it. And when we checked out the manager came to us to apologize for the inconvenience.
Otherwise it’s in a great location, across the street is a large shopping area and multiple dinning options. Safe area.
Staff is outstanding and very helpful. Easy to obtain transportation and the staff will get you inside so you can stay cool, it was very hot outside.
We have recommended this hotel to friends and strangers we have meet on the airplane.

I like the location of New World Hotel. The staff were helpful and courteous. However, the carpet in the room triggered an allergic reaction in my sister. Carpets need to be kept scrupulously clean or just removed from rooms.
Suggest having an ice and water dispenser on each floor. The hotel purports to support environment friendly practice with water in bottles but refuses refills. Suggesting instead that guests buy bottled water which comes in disposable containers.

The staff were absolutely tremendous from the first greeting to departure. My room was a little cold and the AC seemed to have a mind of its own but other than that I would definitely recommend. It's an amazing hotel, especially for the price. It's very walkable to all of the local restaurants and malls and felt very safe.

This place will pamper you and make it difficult to leave such a wonderful place. The staff were all great, especially the room services staff and the lounge staff. The room services staff ensure my room was tended to and that all my needs were met. The lounge staff (Jenna, Raija, and Ayden) were outstanding, ensuring my drinks were always tended to, made recommendations on local favorites, and were very courteous and friendly.

This time, I stayed for one week from August 11th to August 17th. Check-in and check-out were smooth and stress-free as always. The front desk staff and cleaning staff were very friendly and had lovely smiles, which I liked. However, the doorman seemed a little less friendly than before, making it difficult to talk to him, and I was a little disappointed that he didn't smile when I left the hotel or returned home. Also, although it can't be helped this time, the hotel was a little noticeably old. As for breakfast, I thought there weren't many Japanese dishes because there aren't many Japanese guests. Overall, it's a five-star hotel, so I felt a sense of security and safety. Thank you

The security procedures of this hotel is top notch, it makes me feel safe staying at this hotel. Staffs are very friendly, although the room facilities are pretty outdated, but software like staff services are great. Staffs from the f&b department are reallly good

It was nice that the hotel was able to accommodate us for early check-in when our flight arrived early and we got to the hotel ahead of schedule without prior notification.

I recently stayed at New World Hotel in Makati with friends, and it was a disappointing experience. The check-in and check-out processes were incredibly slow, which was frustrating. To make matters worse, despite traveling together, my friends and I were put on different floors, making it difficult to visit each other.
The room itself had several issues: the shower head was damaged, the toilet seat cover was cracked, and the bedside table lights were malfunctioning. We had to remove the key card repeatedly to reset the electrical issue with the lights.
There were many stains in the room on the wall and curtains.
The only positive aspect was the location, but given the numerous problems, it wasn’t enough to make up for the overall poor experience. I would not recommend staying here.

Hotel failed to bring our luggage after check-in, had to finally go down and get it ourselves after 30-40 min. After a long day of traveling this was very inconvenient, we just wanted to have a quick shower and change of clothes. Missed our dinner out as the kids were too hungry and tired.
Expected to have extra beds included in our booking as we booked for 4 persons, had to pay extra.
Bad climate, room had insufficient ventilation and everything was really damp including bed and sheets. No Netflix or screen sharing.
Excellent breakfast and otherwise attentive staff. Nice pool area.
