Halfway point of trip to Dollywood

I checked in late in the evening. I thought the room smelled a little funky but it wasn't until the next morning that I opened the shower curtain and saw the black mold on the ceiling and shower rod. Not acceptable!

Dated 90s style hotel, needing an update. But, it's at a fair price. Management is making changes over time. Breakfast was good, just off the Interstate in Mount Vernon, IL.

Staff was helpful and everything was clean.

After 10.hrs. on road we were very happy tocrash at your hotel. Clean room and very comfortable bed!! Super strong and hot shower. Could not ask for anything more. We decided to stay again on the way back during trip and surprizing got the same room.

This was a great place to stop for the night on the road. Quick, convenient, comfortable, and clean.

Upon arrival I was greeted by a nice lady heading to the front desk and then a man on a screen by video of which I learned is the normal there. The room was dust free and you could see the wipe marks on tables, TV, headboard, etc and there was no foul odors. However, couch and carpet needed cleaning and the window was cracked and secured with duct tape and there was apparent water or other damage around the AC. Most annoying part was that we decided to add a night and when my husband went to the front desk to do so the man on the screen said he included the AAA/AARP discount as requested and come to find out he did NOT. Upon departure I requested the receipt from the man on the screen and when I inquired why the discount was not applied he said it was but it clearly was not. I could have just reserved through Hotels.com for a total of approx. $94 or on their website and not gotten ripped off for $124.10 but we thought we were making it easier and making sure we didn’t have to switch rooms. We probably will avoid quality inn and the man in the screen from now on.

Although you talk to live people through a kiosk, you never see a person actually in person. I hated the kiosk. Although the agents are nice, it's very loud and everybody knows what your room number is and what your name is etc. It's really an uncomfortable experience. I sat in the lobby yesterday morning and watched many other guests interact with the kiosk too and all of us hated it!!! PLEASE, CHOICE HOTELS, give us people in person!!! The hotel otherwise, is fair. There's no pool and the breakfast is limited and only so-so, but the beds were very comfortable and the room was very quiet and comfortable. There is a lot of parking in the back for semi trucks, but there was only one that we saw in our three nights day.

Our Room was spotless. The breakfast was good. The staff were friendly. The kiosk friends were amazing too. I enjoyed my time here. No pool as advertised.

I was not crazy about the virtual front desk during checkout. This was a convenient location for someone traveling along interstate 64

Furniture was broken

Went to check in through a kious system…. Insufficient and garbage. So I stood there for 15 minutes, final a staff member shows up looking like they had been asleep?? People want service as in a clean room and a smooth process to check in….. did not happen

Very nice hotel

The staff was accommodating to our group and let us hang out late in the lobby. My stay was terrible as I was right near the noisy elevator. I had booked my room 3 months in advance and asked to be moved to another room. The clerk said she couldn't help me and that ALL the other guests in the hotel requested to no be near the elevator. Doubtful. If you stay BE SURE to request a room not near the elevator

Two crickets found in room and front desk tried twice to give us 2 functioning room keys but both times the second key wouldn’t work so we gave up asking. The lady working the front desk in person, not the woman on the kiosk who checked us in, was not friendly.

Walked in, found dead bugs on the bed. Roaches in the room floor corners. Place was terrible. Immediately reported to from desk, said there manager was on vacation and would not cancel the booking. Called hotels.com, unfortunately hotels.com customer was not helpful at all. Left me on hold while they contacted the hotel. Them came back to say they cancelled the booking but still being charged one night. Really??

We stayed at this hotel for the Eclipse in April 2024. The hotel was nice enough, and the Cracker Barrel near by was a wonderful convenience. The thing that soured our experience was that we were offered a 'free book' at check-in which seemed to be a book on the eclipse. Pretty sweet, yes? No. The book turned out to be a religious come-on and treatise, sugared up with a photo of an eclipse on the cover. WTH??! Quality Inn is a trusted hotel chain that people come to for a warm, clean, affordable room for the night, not for some religious pitch! Please! There are plenty of other affordable hotels in the area that do not intrude on their guests with unwelcome religious come-ons. This particular location is permanently off my list.

Very good breakfast

We did not speak to an actual person to check in. Also I definitely requested 2 queen beds but was put in a room with 1 queen. Tried to change would allow because I book thru Expedia. Was on the phone 25 mins with Expedia then call dropped. I had a similar situation with booking thru Expedia a couple weeks ago. NOT HAPPY AT ALL! I DONT PLAN ON USING EXPEDIA AGAIN. WILL SPREAD THE WORD TO FRIENDS, FAMILY AND PUBLIC!!!

Hard to communicate with desk clerk. Accent was very hard to understand.

They stay was good, very friendly. Was a little upset because I thought the shower didn’t work but there is actually a trick turning it on but overall very good.

Hotel is very old. Elevator for rooms and stairs are on the opposite end of front desk. Check was okay but did not like the live kiosk. For the cost of the room and style of room the cost should be alot cheaper. Choice hotel brand is really needing to step up their game. Tank on toilet very loose almost ready to fall off. Curtains on windows have holes and there was visible handprints on the headboard. But sheets were ckean

Disappointed that there was no pool. Even tgough i saw online it did. I purposely booked this place because of the pool
