Perfectly located to explore Oslo, lovely large rooms, fantastic breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, close to National Theatre for metro/trams/buses. Very happy with stay, can't wait to return

Great stay with friendly staff. The rooms were basic but really comfortable although I struggled with the aircon. The hotel is ideally located for the city, close enough to walk into town within 5-10 mins but far enough out to escape the noise. Breakfast was excellent and a great choice. Second time staying and would come here again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Europa. The breakfast was amazing, the staff was awesome, the beds where comfy and it was located in a great location. The only downside was the walls were thin and it was nosy. Otherwise we loved it. Would stay again.

Nice hotelbut needs an renewal boost. Pretty basic and not what you expect from 4* Thon. Outdated and loud rooms at the street side (trams). Need better sound isolation.
Breakfast is fine but nothing special. Coffee in the lobby is a nice extra.

My stay was very pleasant with exactly what I needed. Staff friendly and helpful when questions needed answers, Breakfast was amazing other than the massive groups having to fight to get a plate or place to sit. Would highly recommend and would stay again if in Oslo.

My room was in the back of the building. I accepted it because of expecting quiet. And it was very quiet. However, the frying oil smell starting very early in the morning was unbearable on the 4th (!) floor. Something needs to be done with the kitchen ventilation.

Great location near the Royal Palace, Karl Johans Gate, and the Nasjonalteateret metro.
I had a room at the back which was very quiet. There was a kettle, a fridge and a safe.
The breakfast was excellent.
I have stayed in many hotels in Oslo and I would definitely return to the Thon Europa.

Easy access to everything-shops and restaurants. Within walking distance to the national theater station which we took advantage coming from Oslo’s airport. Under 2 miles from the cruise port. Breakfast provided a good variety of items to eat.

Hotel is located in a great location within walking distance of several attractions. I travel often and the staff was exceptional. The front desk has to be the best I have encountered. They greeted me every time, helpful with questions and suggestions. Breakfast was amazing, highly recommended. There is also a restaurant attached to the hotel and the food was great as was the staff. I also had a very early flight and they offered me a breakfast to go which was a first for me and was perfect. Highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel staff was great. There was maintenance in progress, which probably detracted a little from the overall experience. It was convenient to an airport express train station, a great restaurant, and the National Palace Park, though a bit of a walk to some of the other shopping and sightseeing in Oslo.
