There was a roach in our room and there was a sign on the mirror stating that they only wash the sheets and towels every three days.

It’s seems they are remodeling because there was painters tape on walls and half painted hallways. The room was too large for the AC to completely cool down. Quiet and clean room. 3 star hotel

Front desk took too long when there was only two people, and it was already in the evening, room had a weird smell and had a humidifier in it, which I’ve never seen in a room, the swimming pool looked like it needed to be scrubbed

I decided to book a room at the Super 8 / Port Arthur after losing power in Houston. Check in wasn't an issue and I was in my room in no time. Plenty of restaurants within driving/walking distance. The only complaint with the property was that the walls were thin and other guest got a little loud after sundown.

The only problem was it was really noise I could rest well I saw a couple of roach in my room plus it smells a lot like mold in the rooms ,but I love the rooms and staff and convenient to my husband he locked up down there in port Arthur and the place where he is just 9 minutes away so I love to stay here to be close to him every 1 st weekend of the months I get to visit him

I have stayed her a few times for 4-5 days at a time for work. Management and front desk has always been great on checking me in and out and any questions or taking care of issues I had. This last time I brought my teen age daughter with me and everything went smoothly.

There was an odor that was not inviting. The rooms are old and outdated. Really did not like the way the room was organized. the bathroom sink is outside of the room near the entrance. It definitely need updating.

Great property we stay here everytime me and my family come to Port Arthur Tx . We have no complaints at all . Clean , safe and restaurant walking distance from motel

Jacuzzi tub in room didn’t work I got sick from mold smell pool wasn’t working and they sent us to a sister property to swim that pool was dirty ac took 4 hrs to cool the room off

The front desk staff was amazing, they were very friendly. I was surprised to see that the hotel seemed a bit older. There were quite a few updates needed. The toilet seat needed to be replaced and remounted to the floor,and a few of the wall outlets did not work. The curtains were in shreds. But I will say again that the staff was very welcoming.

The hotel is situated very close to my intended location. Check in process and staff are friendly. However, the hotel interior is poorly maintained. As soon as we walked to the room, the pungent smell is very obvious and when we turned on the AC, the bad smell became stronger that we did not get the needed sleep and rest during our stay. My Asthma was triggered and I could not stop coughing. I hesitated to notify the front desk coz it was already late at night. Me and my husband endured the remaining hours through the night by wearing our masks. It was really a bad experience. I notified the front desk at checkout about the strong pungent smell I think is coming from the old unmauntained carpet or the air conditioning system. I can’t imagine families with kids staying in that room. I hope the management will promptly look into it and improve the facility for the health and well being of their customers.

Room key didn't work for the room multiple times, we were on the third floor and had to go back down to the front desk everytime to have it re-scanned. The elevator was very unclean, the roof panels had muck and some dead bugs and the floor was always wet. I was also never informed the pool was closed, nowhere did it say that wouldn't be available and ontop of it being one of the hottest summers ever mind you. The room was missing the A/C unit in the middle of the second day without any notice for cleaning while it was 107 Degrees outside. They didn't even bother to contact us to let us know it was happening. Had to stay in a musky and humid room for a while. When I called to complain they said they could refund only that day and they wanted us to vacate?? Ridiculous, never staying here again.
