Bacon was under cooked. The man that checked me in was very unhelpful, unprofessional and not welcoming at all. In fact it was very rude and unpleasant. Would not recommend at all.

Very old fashioned. Room up many narrow flights of stairs with very weak WiFi. Food was very good value and well cooked and staff were extremely friendly helpful

Rooms are quirky which is fine in a historical building. But our first room, Room 4, had the worst bed we have EVER slept on.,,…very small bed, thin mattress that was literally ready for the skip, and impossible not to roll to the sagging middle! Awake all night.
Tiny shower cubicle and generally the.whole room was shabby and tired.
Probably acceptable if the prices had been budget level, but at £110 per night, it was truly not acceptable.
Moved rooms and got a a better night’s sleep. The chambermaids were so helpful, friendly and hard-working, and couldn’t do enough for you.
Adequate breakfast. Nice toast.

Very old school old fashioned property in historic old building with some uneven floors. Generous breakfast. Useful as a stop over if you are attending a wedding at Bredenbury Court. Local taxis available.

Wonderful historic building, complete with sloping floors, in the centre of town. Breakfast was excellent, our evening meal was very good, and great value for money. Staff were friendly and efficient. One suggestion. The dining room for our evening meal was quieter than the grave, could do with some background music.

The property is an old-world property and very pleasing the food is excellent the first one they gave us with very small but I asked to have a change they done that immediately and the prices in the bar at very reasonable we certainly will be going back again when was the last time you paid £15 for a bottle of wine in a hotel LS normally about 22

Lovely hotel, breakfast was excellent with great service. The slanting floors in the bedroom was unique, made me feel like I’d had a few drinks when I hadn’t. This hotel is 100,s of years old, so don’t expect all the mod cons, but it is full if character and friendly staff.

It was a good stay from start to finish. The staff were friendly and are room was clean and tidy.parking was great. The food menu was plentiful. Definitely a good place to stay!

Good standard of accommodation for the price. This is a grade II listed building which is in need of a bit of renovation as the window panes are starting to crumble in places. Food was excellent and great value for money.

Has everything you could need; comfy bed, clean everywhere, hospitality tray, lovely little toiletries, and clean white towels. The breakfast deserves a special mention, piping hot and delicious. Once you get accustomed to the sloping floors (comes with old buildings) you'll enjoy a stay here. Definitely worth a visit

Just the job for a few nights visiting the family. Friendly, comfortable, good food, reasonable cost -what more could you want- I know, an interesting historic building.

I know it’s a old building, we was in a room on top floor. The stairs was narrow. The room has low ceiling the was at a slope. The bathroom needs updating. But the wedding was great.
