Pretty good place to stay for 1 night, room was big, well equipped, pretty clean.

Price was good, but I reported flies inside our room for two days. Yet, the manager never bothered to call me and resolve the issue.

It was an average hotel room, but the A/C was very weak and I had a hard time falling asleep as it got hot. Also, the floors were dirty.

Bed bugs! Did my usual check around the mattress and found bed bugs.... immediately went to the desk where a nice lady went and got a manager or possibly an owner for him not to offer an apology.... in fact he sent don't r to look and claimed it to be a stain and asked if we put it there. He offered another room... no thank you... I have included a picture of the bed bugs. The motel is also very run down and dirty.

Dirty and noisy

As we all know Motel 6 is more on the budget side of motels. And that is fine. Essentials are important. But this time the cleaning crew must have dumped a whole bottle of bleach in the bathroom. I could not breath in there. My nose was burning and i almost vomited. I decided not to use the bathroom. The rest was ok and like expected.

The room that was given to me smelled like dead animal luckily they did give me another room but the 2nd room the sink was always clogged and the key card didn’t allow us entry 3x I had to go to the office 3x to activate it. It was not a good motel.

The room is clean but not maintained well. The shower handle is loose and the bathroom has a lingering odor. Vinyl floor has painted with some kind of varnish that makes it slippery. My smoke-free room has strong smoke smell. I understand it is difficult to discourage guests' bad behaviors but a smoke-free room like this should not have been rented until the issues are corrected. My last stay in the same property in winter was not this bad. It is a generally safe area with new condos being built across the street, but some other guests may make you feel otherwise. Request a room facing away from the freeway if that is your concern.

I enjoyed my stay here. But the only downside was there was no coffee maker, hair dryer, microwave. I can do without the coffee maker and hair dryer. But i feel the microwave is a must have. And this was the only time i didn't have one in the room. The staff was very friendly and the room was nice for a short trip.

Very noisy!

Overall, it was a nice stay as we were there for an event and only there to sleep. The freeway access was good. Liked the hot tub. Room and shower were clean while there. Unfortunately, I had to make several trips to front desk to replace room key due to it not being able to access room. Lastly, not fond of the parking area, limited.

Front desk was helpful and nice

I like the fact that the hotel is near the freeway and conveniently close to stores. Unfortunately, the area has become unsafe for travelers due to increase in people who use drugs and are shady. I am sure the staff and the city are doing what they can. One would have to be aware of the risks before staying there.

Would stay here again

A interesting mix. Very friendly, helpful staff. Lots of freeway noise (they accommodated us and gave us one of the quieter rooms). A small dog park for our two little dogs to do their thing (But the gate was broken, and they could easily have escaped). Lots of homeless in the area. A few other motel guests looked like gangbangers. Across the street from high end apartments. Good bike paths.

Check in was easy no hassle great location close to the beach and The Collection in Oxnard will stay here again

Everything was as expected but it would be nice to have a kettle or a coffee machine in the room.

It was very nice, everyone was kind.

While the staff were friendly and accommodating, the property itself left a lot to be desired. Bed: for whatever reason the mattress kept slipping off the base. Could not sit up right in bed to read, as it would cause the bed to slip. Noise: perhaps it was just my room, but i could hear the occupants in the next room. There was a shared door between both rooms. They were loud and obnoxious and stayed up until 5 am talking loudly. Not very noise proof. Recommendations: I think having a coffee maker would have been a nice touch. Room did come with fridge which was useful. Room did not have shampoo/conditioner (so bring your own). Towels to dry after shower were very short, so not useful. Like i said many improvements to be made. Staff was very friendly. Building could use a nice paint job especially since its is conveniently located near up And coming apartment buildings.

One of the nicer Motel 6 properties I have stayed at. Only down side was it’s a little noisy with the freeway so close.

Had a pleasant peaceful stay.

The bed sloped to the middle. There were only 2 pillows on a queen bed. I asked for more, they said no. It was as is. A motel 6, no frills, but la pricey.
