Friendly staff. Location is within walking distance of restaurants and a Whole Foods, and about a 10 minute walk from public transportation. I was able to check in early and the staff allowed me to store my luggage after checking out. The room was clean and there was plenty of hot water.

I have selected this hotel solely for its convenient location, which met my requirements. It provides a clean space for rest, and while there are no specific issues to point out, there's also nothing particularly noteworthy to mention, aside from the price being lower than that of other hotels in the vicinity.

It is an excellent location for the price. There are many dining choices, a Whole Foods around the corner, lots of people and seemed very safe. The Metro was a bit of a walk, but it's not the best system. The 52 bus gave pretty good acess to the Mall.

Friendly efficient staff, reasonable rates. It's a little rundown and Freight around the edges, but was clean and well located. I would stay here again.
You likely won't get parking there, I downloaded spot hero and found a great spot a couple hundred meters away for 30 bucks a night. They want a credit card deposit for $150 so be forwarned.

This hotel was clean and conveniently located. The WiFi worked well (password is weak, so maybe use a VPN).
The staff were very friendly and efficient. I would recommend you stay here if you want a budget friendly, no-frills hotel in Downtown DC

I had delays in my flight checked in late . Amazing customer service shout out to the over night clerk he was amazing and friendly. I got a basement room and to be honest is so cozy, felt like I was in my own room at home. Very clean and comfortable bed . Cleaning service is great always checked in if I need something! The hotel was really really cheap and it was amazing ! I would recommend to friends and family. Listen no need to stay in a very expensive hotel this one is worth the money ! Everything is very close you have a huge option of food selections and walkable or just grab a local bike. If had to go back to D.C I would stay here again ! Thank you !!!

Older apartment but you are only there to sleep. Excellent clean room a touch small but otherwise excellent.

Quiet. Safe. Abundant transport choices- local bus, taxi, Uber/lyft, and subway/train.
Amazing shopping, food, and easy to get to mall.
However, TV is analog in the room while the lobby tv is cable or digital. I was promised it would get fixed but didn’t. So, I missed all my favorite games.

Worst stay I have experienced. My room had no place to hang clothes or put luggage. It was a door that faced a bedroom with a bathroom (I am unable to attach a photo in the app). Total walking area was maybe 25 sq ft. Tiny window about 1x 2 feet above the bed. I asked receptionist for hangers and there was none. The light was on motion control and turned off if i didnt wave my arms above my head. There were about 4 or 5 wifi networks and none of them worked. There was a dirty sock under my bed.

Deposit policy should be changed. Why waiting for 1 week to be refunded for non US-Residents? After 2 weeks, im not refunded. I dont expect foul play. Did i damage any property? If yes, i should have been told before my departure.

Doesn’t have parking lot. Have to looking for parking place by customer, i park in another side in front of road my car towed. 200$ ticket. And the hotel dirty, if you drive don’t live in this hotel

District Hotel is fantastic. I'll be staying there again. Amazing beds, so comfy!! Good showers and bathrooms. Coffee every morning. Great neighborhood and near all the shops and restaurants. Whole Foods is around the corner. It's not a slicked out fancy hotel, but it has everything you need and more. The staff are super nice and the place was clean and tidy.

There is a parking lot you can pay for a daily price or monthly price, about a 7min walk away from the hotel. This hotel has restaurants around it. The staff was friendly. Our hotel room was clean, its just a seasoned hotel.

Clean, old world charm (I mean it, this is not a negative). Rooms are small, no gym, but if your are lookong for a great location with shops and cafes nearby around the corner and clean but small rooms and friendly staff, this ia the place. Coffee 24/7 in lobby was nice too. The proce can't be beat. Great proximity to everything.

I hate this property! The rooms are soo close together that whenever the doors next to mine were open or closed, i felt like it was mine. It was so hard to concentrate in the room because of this! A part of the floor felt like it was either about to break or was already broken under the carpet! Wouldnt want my worst enemy staying here !

The location was perfect for walking to where we were going and the room was clean.We were in a room that faced the street and they had wood blinds instead of heavy curtains. They also had bright spotlights right outside the window, so the room was bright enough to read by the entire night. It was aweful.

The staff was friendly the room was small and the room was updated but in a haphazardly manner. I would recommend getting a room with two beds or bigger bed. I will stay again just in a different type of room. It was small but i was anle to rest.

The area of the hotel it was excellent very close to a lot of restaurants, fast food and bars. I feel very safe in the zone to walk during the night.

Very affordable and great location. The rooms are small and the air conditioner is right above the bed, but the staff was friendly and the rooms were tidy and clean. If you want an affordable stay in DC while knowing you are staying in a clean room with no hassel, go here.
