Very well situated. Beautiful property - main level, room, and rooftop pool. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Loved the whole thing. Can’t wait for the restaurant on main floor to open. Of note, there was quite a bit of roadwork being done on road outside. It made it challenging to get cabs.

The hotel is conveniently located and the rooms are great. The one drawback of the concierge is never around and the hotel staff while helpful Are not in the position to do that job. Information we were given was incorrect and conflicting. The concierge arrived at noon. Left at 5. So we never were around for them. A big problem especially if it’s your first time.

Great place to stay near the Gothic quarter. After a long day of sightseeing it was the perfect place to relax in the pool and enjoy the rooftops views. Rooms were a great size. Beds were very comfortable. Everyone who worked there was very friendly and accommodating!

From the moment we arrived at grand hotel central, everyhing was perfect. We arrived much earlier than the check in time and they had a room ready and waiting. The hotel staff, from the doorman to each valet person , front desk, room attendants, skybar staff and spa attendants were beyond 5 star. We really liked this area very close to great restaurantsand shooping. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Power kept going out in our room, we had to move to a different room. The downstairs restaurant was dismal, we were the only ones there.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Great central location. 10 min walk from Airport bus stop. Close to beach. Modern room finishings and design. King size bed rather than two twins. Rooftop infinity pool area a great place for a morning coffee! Highly recommend.

This hotel is beautiful. However, we purchased our stay on Expedia. It did not include fees. The fees for 5 days were about $800! Some of that was food and drink but the majority was $10 (euro) fees for every order, everyday, plus taxes. The Ohla Hotel, equally as nice did not impose those fees. A little sticker shocked on this one

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful every step of the way. The hotel had just been renovated and was incredibly clean and beautiful with art and decor in the lobby. The rooftop pool and view is an experience in itself!

All the staff went "above and beyond" to ensure we enjoyed our 3-day stay and we were warmly welcomed on our arrival Our room was large and the beds very comfortable. The decor was modern minimalist style but with not too much storage space. . There was no dressing table for my wife to make up, but within an hour, the hotel had provided an excellent glass topped table and chair for her. The hotel also has a wonderful roof-top swimming pool, lounge area and restaurant where we relaxed after visiting the city's main attractions. Here the staff were all so pleasant and welcoming!

Exceptional Stay at Grand Hotel Central - Highly Recommend! We recently stayed at the Grand Hotel Central and had an outstanding experience, all thanks to Expedia and the hotel's exceptional service. Upon arrival, Expedia reached out to ensure we received a bottle of wine and were offered a room upgrade. Initially, we hadn't received these, but the next day, the hotel promptly sent us a bottle of wine and upgraded our room. Impressively, our original room was already fantastic and didn't need any upgrading! The hotel appears to be newly remodeled and is equipped with everything you could possibly need. The sky bar offers breathtaking views and delicious food. Our room was soundproof, providing a peaceful retreat with all the necessary amenities. However, what truly sets this hotel apart is the incredibly sharp and fast staff. Any request we made was met within 60 minutes, whether it was for water or anything else. This was by far the fastest and most efficient service we've experienced anywhere. We highly recommend Grand Hotel Central for a luxurious and hassle-free stay in Barcelona. Excellent location with great walkability to many sites. Could not walk to Park Guell or Familia Sagrada but the hop on hop bus was very convenient near the hotel and easy way to see everything in just 2 hours! Beds were comfortable. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was excellent! Great selection of fresh foods and plenty to eat before a big day of walking and seeing the sites. Rooftop bar with great views of the city and tasty tapas. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

This hotel is excellent. Great location close to the seafront about 15-20 minutes walk, center for shopping and nightlife, bars and all transport links. The staff were amazing, super friendly and helpful. The rooftop pool and bar is a great place to relax with nice food and drinks at reasonable prices. Quality rooms and facilities, highly recommended for anyone coming to Barcelona especially if it's for the first time. Thank you all at Grand Central Hotel for your hospitality.
