Really happy with the room, very clean and great comfortable bed. A little outdated in terms of deco but the breakfast and lobby is outstanding. Hotel is located very central and easily reachbale to anywhere to the city or to Jesselton Point. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Great place right in the centre of town with a sea view and where the staff can’t do enough for you. Very friendly and helpful. Going back for 2 nights at the need of our trip next week. Thanks guys!

The facilities and staff services are excellent. Check-in and check-out process are very smooth. The daily morning buffet spread of selection is great. The room is spacious and love the seafront view. However, there are two set-back that make our stay slightly disappointed. 1) The TV channel selection is limited; 2) The room sound proofing can be improved further as we are hear next door guest open & closed their door almost everyday in the morning also at night.

The hotel is old and looking tired. Carpets are stained, long corridors with low ceilings, reception looks dated and outside is in a state of disrepair. The hotel is in need of a refurb. On the positive side. There are good views from the rooftop bar and the pool was nice. On balance, we feel that the hotel was not good value for money.

Convenient location, some staff are courteous but not all. At breakfast I insisted on getting coffee myself at the coffee machine as I found a strand of hair in my coffee the day before. Many flies at the restaurant as the fish market and sea is right across the hotel. The hotel must find a way to address this as it's unhygienic.

The hotel is clean and the room is spacious. It is situated right opposite the night market and pretty close to imago shopping arcade. The staff here are excellent. They go out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Highly recommended

Lovely property. Close to airport. Staff is exceptionally helpful. Buffet meals were extraordinary. It’s quite beautiful. Carpeting throughout needs to be refreshed/replaced. Locker room for pool seemed a bit dated too. Otherwise, spectacular

Next level. This is truly a five star hotel in every way from the facilities to the staff. The location is directly across from the harbour and you can see the fishing boats coming and going. An easy walk to the Sunday market and the night market. There are shopping centres close by for all your needs. Markets are across the road. We had a sea view room which was spacious and lovely. Towels were white and fluffy. Bed linen luxurious and the beds and pillows were super comfortable. The service we received from the staff was next level. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff went above and beyond. We felt very welcomed and loved our 3 night stay. Highly recommended.

Clean & convenient location…only ting my shower hose was leaking…I tink housekeeping over looked that.

Great hotel overlooking the sea. The room we booked was huge, breakfast was good, the club room facilities were excellent which include almost everything. Staff were top notch also. Will definitely going back there again when visiting KK.

The hotel was nice and lovely, large room and comfortable. Very clean and good amenities. Reception staff at checkin not very helpful. One guy could not help to reserve a dinner booking and told me fully booked but when we walked to the restaurant they have spaces. Food options were limited due to Ramadan dinners at Lobby restaurant. Could be better. Also the smell from the fish market outside sometimes very strong when entering hotel. All in all it is a very nice and comfortable 5* hotel in the middle of city and the famous KK night markets and would recommend staying there.

The rooftop pool and view over the sea was stunning!

Great central location for walking out to the night markets, bars, restaurants, cafes, shops. Short walk or a quick Grab (taxi) to the ferry terminal where you catch the boats to go island hopping. Club room, king bed, sea view was a great size with good water pressure in the shower, good quality complimentary toiletries and reliable WiFi. There were lovely sunset views from the club lounge which served complimentary alcoholic drinks, soft drinks and food from 5:30 - 7:30pm each day. I would definitely say that the reasonable extra cost of a club room is worth it. The staff at the club lounge, reception and main breakfast restaurant were all so friendly and helpful. The pool had sufficient loungers and was nice and relaxing. In summary, I would certainly recommend a stay at Le Meridien if you’re looking to be central in KK.

To be completely honest, I struggled for a long time thinking about reviewing this. However I finally thought it’s best to write one up since it is supposedly 5 star and I want their leadership to note. I’m just being honest and upfront but most importantly don’t want this to reflect on the people working there. Saying so, the people working there are absolutely fab. Made my partner and me feel absolutely at home. They also stretched and strived to accomodate us to the best of their ability given the following challenges. We stayed here for 3 nights. We had 3 room changes in 4 days. 6th floor to 10 then 12. The hotel is super old and dilapidated. I did hear locals mention it was renovated recently but sadly I don’t see any evidence of it. First room was mouldy, second room has a water leak from the light fitting , directly above the toilet. Things need to be fixed around here. Please do as I love to come back to stay. But all in all , the staff came to the rescue everytime. Despite my frustrations in having to pack and repack and move rooms almost every night , I just want to say thank you to Ricky and the staff of Le Meridien KK.

Floor is dirty and the hotel over rated.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Le meridian Hotel The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that my room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and immaculately clean. The comfortable bed and luxurious linens ensured a restful night's sleep, and the blackout curtains were a nice touch for those who prefer a dark room. I also appreciated the complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, which made it easy for me. But one feedback that the room window screen having a lot of dust( I’m staying the ocean view room ) The bath room heater tap having unstable flow of hot water The location of the hotel was ideal, with easy access to popular attractions and transportation options. Whether I wanted to explore the city or simply relax in the hotel, everything was conveniently within reach. Overall, I’m happy stay at the Le meridian Hotel.

Customer service is excellent. Everyone is so warm, friendly and inviting as well as excellent at their job.
