Great stay overall. Was surprised to see there was no AC in the room and no microwave. Although the area gets pretty cool at night, spending any time in the room in the middle of the day was brutal because it was too hot.

So happy to spend our weekend with our mom down here at Tally Ho. This older hotel is very quaint and has an amazing location right downtown. The staff was super helpful and kind. I would definitely come back!

There is no microwave or kitchenette in the room or coffee maker in the room. There is a very small college dorm refrigerator. Only able to charge the phones on one night stand not both. Not enough towels were given.

Great place to stay in Carmel. Walk to everything and enjoy the beautiful surroundings

The patio is a must to sightsee ocean from Carmel. The Jacuzzi tub which could fit two persons is great. The only thing i would mention is one side of the mattress was broken...I will need to sleep on sofa :(

This is our first stay at this hotel. Everything from booking until the check out was a joyful experience. Hotel’s management made sure that we were taking care. Very great full for this! We will be sure to come back and enjoy the property again soon.

Got s completely different room than what was booked. According to the staff at the hotel that is usually how it is when booking via Hotels.com. No staff at check in at 6 pm. Not functioning Wi-fi. The sink in the bathroom blocked. Got a room without view and disturbed by traffic instead of deluxe suit with view that was booked.

Absolutely stunning view of the ocean. The bedding was extremely comfortable was able to open up the bay doors and the ocean breeze in. Well worth it. Will repeat

Great property in the center of Carmel. Clean, simple and quaint. The staff was helpful and courteous. Location was perfect for walking to shops, restaurants, and the beach.

The room was exactly like the picture. It was roomy, well laid out and the deck would have been lovely if weren’t raining. The staff were friendly and responsive. The location is convenient to everything and is downhill from most things, so when you’re tired and headed back at night, gravity is on your side. All the furniture is comfy and that bathtub is huge. I would absolutely stay at the Tally Ho again.

What a lovely spot! You are in walking distance of the beach as well as the downtown shops, bars, restaurants, but feel like you are a world away. Our room had a very private, wooded terrace that looked out at the sea, with folding doors that opened up to the whole room. There is a fireplace to keep it cozy at night, and a huge jetted tub for luxury. Outdoor areas included an always-on firepit, and another a terrace area with a view - if we'd been part of a group, these would have been terrific places to gather. We did enjoy hot brandies by the firepit the night we arrived - great welcome! The charming office also has a fireplace and coffee/tea/brandy/fruit for your drop in pleasure. Only thing we missed was a coffee maker/tea kettle in the room, as the office closed at 8 at night, so we couldn't make bedtime tea. BUT it is an easy walk to the office to grab coffee in the morning, and the folks across the way at their sister property (Il Fornaio) were happy to send us home later at night with cups of hot water. We LOVED our stay here, and will happily return.

We had a 2.5 year old and they anticipated needs and even followed up once we left. Very much felt we were truest their guests vs a room stay Thank you for the treat and wonderful experience

Such a great, quaint place to stay. Great location, very comfortable. Lobby hours need to be a little longer..specifically open earlier in the morning for coffee.

The bathroom was gorgeous. Loved the heated floor and whirlpool bath tub. Fireplace in room was also beautiful.

We loved the location, which was one block off of Ocean ave (the Main Street). Thought the service was excellent. Very friendly. We enjoyed having the private deck to sit out on. Very comfortable chairs to enjoy the views.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay. Front desk was very hospitable and accommodating. Room was great - very roomy and clean. And hotel is in a great location - close to the beach, restaurants and wine tasting rooms.
