The property is okay. The space is tight and small. The area is quiet.

It is clean but no property manager onsite.

The apartment was good but unprofessional approach to guests request wanted k cups only a couple of them they refused saying only get it for the first day didn’t get entry even though we were 15 mts early need to be more professional and understand the need of the guests

What I liked about this property was convenience, easy to access those city areas. What I feel uncomfortable was lacked of communication between us and the property management.

Check in experience was miserable. Room code did not work and when I called the apartment support, they said my room number had changed and provided me with new code stating they had sent an email about the change. But no change information was sent to me

Good size room. Kitchenette and laundry room are very useful for extended stays.

Booked this apartment for my family of four …..it was great that it had a kitchenette because food in Iceland is extremely expensive so we made breakfast and lunch to take on our 12 Hour Road trips with us every day. I would like to mention that when people leave the room and before new people come in, you should make sure that all of the dishes have been cleaned properly ….when we arrived Dishes and pots were soaking wet and still dirty that seemed to have rushed to put away …::also in our particular room there was a very foul smell and my husband discovered that if you put a towel over the shower drain that was the only way to make the smell go away. It was very centrally located so a five minute drive to the downtown , it was extremely quiet and worked out great for our 7 day stay…..

It was a great location for us....Just no one to communicate with, communication was only via email or text. We could not phone due to no sim card. It would help if they could give you an idea where the owner or managers are located. The cleaners did not speak english. We extended our stay and could not get a clear answer about the price. The place was clean, poor tv, and no paper towels.

Good location and close to bay. 5-10 minutes drive to city center and Bay Area.

Very clean and modern. Close to walking trails, downtown, Sky Lagoon, Perlan, harbour and groceries. Excellent value!

We picked this property based primarily because of price and accommodations. As a last minute trip with my daughter, we wanted a place that was reasonable in price, clean, and somewhat close to the downtown/touristy area of Reykjavik. We lucked out and got a corner room (310) so that we had plenty of windows and the ability to have good air circulation. Blackout curtains provided great coverage for sleeping, since daylight was practically 20 hrs a day :-). Kitchenette suited our needs well - had electric stove, small sink, mini frig, microwave. Kitchen items were also stocked (plates, bowls, cups, wine glasses, mugs, dish towel, dish rack, toaster, coffee maker, pots and pans, all utensils for eating and cooking, dish soap, scrubber). Lots of cabin space to put things away. Our room also had a table (with two chairs) for eating and a nice couch to sit around (rather than having to lounge in bed all the time). Sleeping/living area and bathroom were very clean, and I really liked the plank flooring, which was very easy to clean up. Our entryway had a coat rack with shelf for storing shoes. There was also a hanger rack provided with some hangers; there's no dresser. However, we used the deep-set window ledges to hold our clothes. Bathroom had all the supplies (body soap, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap). Towels (bath and hand) were provided; honor system for replacing your bath towels every other day in the 3rd floor laundry/supply room. Laundry room had two sets of washers/

Stay Apartments Bolholt was my first hotel stay in Iceland, and it was excellent. The facilities were brand new, with a well-equipped kitchen and spacious rooms. Every detail was carefully considered. I accidentally damaged the electric kettle and inquired about compensation, but I was told that there was no charge. This thoughtful service really stood out. I want to thank the owner and management for their kindness and friendliness. This hotel was undoubtedly the highlight of my trip to Iceland and left me with the warmest impression of the country.

The apartments are spotless and have all the amenities you need. Close to local bus links and most places around Reykjavík are walkable from here. All self service and room codes are all sent by email in advance. Would definitely stay here again.

Good set up for our family of three. We were able to buy some food and leave it in the fridge. The bathroom door was in bad shape from the shower water and the shower was awkward because of the curtain. Otherwise it was a good place to stay if you have a car.

Very disappointed with attitude of the property. Would not recommend this to anyone

Everything was close by. Neat and clean apartment. Staff is very nice. We reached quite early and were planning to wait out till 3pm checkin, but thought of asking if we can checkin early and they gave ok.

All good and team was very supportive

The apartment was not clean. Few of us staying in this apartment got itchy skin afterwards. The washroom was poorly designed, with the bathtub really difficult to access for shorter people. The chopping board, pots, and knifes are not clean and cheap.

They deliver what they sold.

I liked the rooms and the views. I don't like that they are on busy streets that are noisy 24/7. It's too far to walk to the city center where there is dining or entertainment. You can drive in about 7 minutes, but then you have to find parking and pay for it which can be difficult. On the other hand, it is pretty quick to drive out of the city from here. It is across the street from the Hilton, so if that looks like a good location for you then go for it.

We had a wonderful visit. The rooms were clean and the location was great! We will definitely stay here again when in Iceland:)

Pros: had everything we needed. Clean, good communication- for some reason I was not getting their email With the code, but they responded in a timely manner. Cons: tight space for a family of four, especially the bathroom. Although we walked to the city center, it was a good 20-25 min walk.

I would like to highlight the following issues that we faced during our stay: 1. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. In the booking it said that we would get two twin beds but in fact there were 4 single beds which kept moving 2. There was no ventilation in the apartment and also the washroom which kept the environment very stuffy all the time. We couldn't keep the windows open at night because it was raining 3. There seems to be no sound proofing in the building. Kept hearing noises from everywhere all night 4. It was hot at night inside because the windows were kept closed and the quilt available was very heavy and no phone was available 5. There was a long ramp in the apartment which was very hazardous specially at night. I almost fell on the floor at night while navigating the ramp. It should be available only when the guests ask for it 6. Pillows were too flat and uncomfortable 7. There is no reception or person at site at any point within the building
