The staff is friendly and the room was clean. It is comfortable. But if you are looking for charm to match Carmel by the Sea, this is not the place. Also, when I arrived they had no record of my reservation. They said Hotels.com had not informed them. I had to show them a paper print out of the reservation.

Check in was at 3. got there at 2:50 to see a sign saying they will be back in 20 minutes. waited for 40 and still nothing. Left and came back, had to wait after ringing and knocking for the staff, finally called the number for the person to come out. got a room just to have the keys not work.

The hotel room was nice. It was hot but no AC available. There is a fan and heater available in the room though. The breakfast was a basket with easy to go food. The inn is walking distance to numerous dining and shopping stops. We even walked to the beach which was a 15min walk.

We were surprised that there was no air conditioning in the room. For a $300+ room you would think this was standard. We ended waking up in the middle of the night multiple times since it got too hot in the room. Also, if you are a light sleeper I suggest you get a different place to stay. The walls are very thin, we heard our next door neighbor snoring through the walls, whenever someone opens the drawers and of course steps (we were on the bottom floor).
Some of the good things are the location which close to the stores and restaurants, the room is clean and parking was fine.
Overall, it was ok but I wouldn't recommend it.

The hotel facility was meh. It included breakfast, but we didn’t expect it to be a basket with a minute amount of cereal, some milk, an apple and a small danish. On the second morning they added a yogurt.
The room was okay - bed small but comfortable. It was renovated to look nice but the bathroom didn’t feel super clean, and the lack of threshold into the room from the bathroom showed it was not particularly well done and there was a very sharp edge on the flooring there. There were small ants in the room that were explained that ‘sometimes kids spill milk’ as we mentioned it as we checked out.
The location was great, and we had a sliver of ocean view from the little balcony. The service from the person at reception seemed rather uninterested in general.

Good three-star. Very good location. Clean and comfortable rooms. Staff polite but not warm. Breakfast is offered in a basket that is left at the door at 8:30. Customers can choose to eat in the room or in a small terrace outdoors inside the property. Breakfast includes cereal, cold milk, yogurt, a sweet bar and some fruit. Enough to get one going. Coffee in the room is terrible. Overall a good place to spend the night.

Hotel is so clean and comfortable, Very closed by the main areas, restaurants are in walk in distance. Breakfast is not so good, we got only cornflakes and milk. However its very good.

Was suppose to come with breakfast delivered to room which we did not receive. When checking out asked about this and associate said that the maid must have forgot about it. Not alot of guest staying here so not sure how it was forgoten appeared no room was delivered their basket.

The property itself was very average, the room was fine with a comfortable bed. Pretty basic in every way (though they did not supply the room with nearly enough toilet paper). Excellent location and parking. I would definitely stay here again for it’s location and ease.

Great location, room was very nice, comfy bed and pillows. Only complaint was the soda machine ate a few dollars in change. Not a big deal, but disappointing when there is no open shops in the area to purchase water or beverages.

Great little property close to everything in Carmel. We were able to walk to all the restaurants and shops which was convenient for us to enjoy the area and not have to always be driving. The property is small and appears to be going through some renovations. Our room was clean and comfortable. It was updated with lots of new touches, but not yet completed. Nothing that bothered or affected our stay. We also received a small basket with breakfast snacks outside our door in the morning. It was great for everything we needed for the weekend.

The location was absolutely perfect - most of the time we didn't even have a rental car, but had no trouble getting around without one. We stayed for a week so we were worried about having a smaller room with lots of luggage but our room (King suite) was huge! Most, if not all, places in town are much smaller so I highly recommend for a longer stay or folks with little kids!

The bed wasn’t super comfortable, but fine for just one night. The shutters in the sliding door were a little busted and the slider didn’t lock. Considering the balcony faces the street the slider should lock.

The are of the hotel was great. Close to downtown with lots of shopping, art galleries and restaurants easy to walk to. The hotel was relatively easy to find and the parking was ok, just really small spaces. The front desk attendant was nice when checking us in. The room itself was clean and organized when we first walked in, however there were holes in the wall, screws sticking out of the walls in the bathroom and the phone wasn’t even hooked up or plugged in. There was a laminated paper with all the number and extensions but no functional phone. The blinds on one of the windows was also broken and basically falling off. The bed was squeaky but overall comfortable. The listing said that room service and housekeeping were both included except when brought up he said they were the same thing so just housekeeping the breakfast was ok just a small container of dry cereal, granola bar, milk and an apple and banana. Overall the people seemed nice and the area was good but I won’t be staying at this hotel again.

The room we stayed in is very outdated, the bathroom door didn’t close, the wall were patched in certain places but not painted afterwards and the carpet was filthy. The only positive was the location, it was close to the Main Street where all the shops and restaurants are.

The location is perfect for walking anywhere and everywhere in the heart of downtown Carmel. The breakfast delivered to our door was an added bonus and much appreciated.
We had the King Suite and there was one tiny bathroom, no full length mirror, no closet, and the tv was outdated and small. Those are my major complaints.
For the price, it is fine, but not somewhere I’d pick again.

The rooms are small and cozy. Everything was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Great location. If you need disability accessible parking, there is none. One spot is in front of the office, but you can’t utilize it, for it blocks other parking spots. Breakfast consist of a measured out cup of cereal, individual milks, a banana and an apple. Staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. The desk man was a gem of a personality.

Everything was great! Very close to all the restaurants and shops. Room was clean and the bed was comfy. They even brought us an adorable breakfast in the morning to our door! We would definitely stay here again.

Great location with lovely, cozy rooms. Bedding is nice and comfortable. There's a microwave & fridge and breakfast is delivered to your door. Desk staff is very welcoming and helpful with things like extra towels. On the downside, only mirror is in the bathroom, so no way to see full length. When I went to use mini size hair conditioner, it was almost empty and obviously already used.
