Well worth the stay

Great hotel in central Torquay. Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and it seemed every effort had been made to meet guests needs. Highly recommended and we look forward to returning in the not too distant future.

Lovely hosts Liz and Paul. Room 7 was beautiful and clean. Well located for town centre 10 minute stroll. Great breakfast. Only 2 on site parking spot's but plenty on street close by.

Very friendly hosts, very clean in all areas

I chose this hotel specifically because it claimed to have a private (though limited) car park, but on arrival discovered the tiny parking space at the back of the property is used by the owners alone. I was shown a map of the area and told to go and find off-street parking. It took me half an hour to find a space, which ended up being very far from the hotel on a street where two cars close by had they tyres slashed, so I worried for the duration of my stay. I also had to change my plans and did not use the car during my stay as I was too worried I would not find another parking space. The room and bathroom were very clean, but very small for two people and with a lot of traffic noise at night. Breakfast was mediocre. The distance to the seafront was the main highlight.

Short walk to the water. Beautiful property. Very clean. Tasty full English breakfast. Limited parking on site but there is a lot of other options including unrestricted street parking close by. Host is very knowledgeable of the area and provided excellent recommendations. Will definitely return.

Liz and Paul were very welcoming and have us recommendations on places to visit and eat which was much appreciated. The hotel is beautifully clean, we felt comfotrable and safe in the surroundings with the security fob entry system and all the hand cleansing stations including at the breakfast bar. We will definitely return.

WOW WOW WOW this place it amazing, the onsite parking is only available for 2 cars, but there is plenty of parking very close by. Owners are lovely and were already planning pur next visit.

Trelawney Hotel has just undergone a refurbishment by the looks of it and it was really lovely. Although we couldn't use all the Hotel because of Covid19, the bedroom was really spacious and well equipped. Our hosts were really lovely and informative about the area. A really lovely place and we would definately stay there again.

The television is Freeview but there is catch up tv installed which worked really well. The WiFi was very reliable too. Unfortunately the dining room and lounge were closed due to COVID restrictions but breakfast was delivered to our room each morning. The quality was fantastic, the preordering system was really easy and was delivered on time each day. Overall an excellent stay and would definitely recommend...and we will be staying again!

Hotel trelawney is a lovely place to stay, Liz and Paul were very friendly hosts and made us feel very welcome and as though nothing was too much trouble. Hotel in a great location easy walk into town and the harbour side. Breakfast was delicious 😊

Felt very welcome, inside and out it was immaculately kept, lovely breakfast and owners very friendly- our room was very compact, quite small with a really high ceiling! But clean and comfortable. A few differences than normal due to covid but made no different as we loved it!

Attended an event over a few days which was close by. Hotel is lovely and I chose here because of other feedback. I was not disappointed. Lovely hosts and very helpful. Room spacious and comfortable with everything you need. Would stay again if in the area, and would not hesitate to recommend. Short walk to the sea.

Having a great breakfast selection with tasty cooked options included was a very welcomed added extra. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area!
