Easy self check in, with clean (spotless), modern and spacious property and room. Excellent service and a very tasty breakfast each morning with an efficient way of ordering the night before. The owners are very friendly and we were made to feel very welcome. Highly recommend!

Really enjoyed this stay, such a great location, it is up a little bit of a hill, but most accommodation in Torquay seems to be. This is easily walkable to Torquay harbour. The B&B is in perfect condition, every detail has been thought about. Check-in was seamless. The owner Hannah is lovely, she makes you feel really at home. The B&B is beautifully decorated and very clean. There are USB sockets on the wall next to your bed. They have an honesty bar so you can get drinks/ snacks that you can have in the front garden. Breakfast was well organised, you choose a time and menu selection and they make it for you. The only thing that I would change about this stay is to opt for a more premium sausage at breakfast, but that's personal taste. Free parking is basically impossible to get, but there is Riviera Leisure Centre nearby where you can park for 24 hours for £8, this does require coins only though.

The property is in an ideal position to get to marina and close to bus stops. The owners are coping well under the covid conditions and at no time did we feel unsafe. We would definitely stay here again with no hesitation and recommend The Montana

Excellent B&B, great location & easy parking down the next street.. Very clean room with lovely fluffy towels & a comfy bed. Would definitely return & very impressed with the check in process & information x

This is the 3rd time we have stayed here, Hannah and William are excellent hosts and nothing is too much trouble. There is a good choice of freshly cooked food for breakfast along with the usual toast and cereals available. The rooms are spotless and not cramped. I would thoroughly recommend this B & B.

Had a lovely few days in Torquay with my partner. The Montana is situated a short walk to the sea front and town centre. It’s a very smart bed and breakfast, Hanna was very lovely and always helpful. Great choice of breakfast. Would stay here again.

The perfect bed and breakfast hotel. Beautifully decorated and furnished. Spotless, excellent breakfast with plenty of choices, friendly and helpful owner. Great position, close to beach and town. No parking onsite, but we were able to find free places to park in side streets very close to hotel.

Absolutely lovely guest house. Will and Hannah were so warm and welcoming. We had everything we needed and it was a wonderful weekend.

I booked four nights for me and my daughter who is 12. We had the smallest room in the B and B but new we was there to spend the majority of the day out so it was fine to just sleep in. If your a light sleeper like myself I wouldn’t recommend this room because it is on the floor that the front doors on so you can hear people coming and going also it’s on the floor where breakfast is served so if you had a night out you would be woken to breakfast being served only next door. The breakfast was lovely though and the owners who run the B and B were very pleasant and gave us information on where to go and what buses to catch. The B and B itself was very clean looked lovely inside and out actually gave me a few ideas on some colours in my own home. The seaside town is great more for adults but Paignton was only a bus ride away to do more things to entertain my daughter . There is a couple of pools only across the road though . I would recommend this B and B to adults though and would definitely use again if I was to come with a friend. We hardly used the car we managed to park on the side on the road when we first got there but when we used the car on the last day there was no parking left . Time zoned parking or even pay to park. I noticed everyone done the same as us and left the cars parked and done more walking and used buses so hopefully if ur lucky to get a space your car would be fine

Peaceful stay . Hannah was super kind and made us feel at home ! Breakfast was delicious ;) Very cozy feel and super clean. Location was great . We were able to walk down to nearby restaurants by seaside . Definitely recommend !

Great comms from lovely friendly helpful owners...beautifully refurbished building with character...comfortable room. ..tasty plentiful breakfast...well located for Torre Abbey. Can't fault this place and hope to return soon! Thanks very much Hannah & Will, you're doing a great job!

Hannah was a really nice host, breakfast was tasty as well. Room is clean and tidy.

The B&B is in an excellent location, 5 mins walk to the beach and just over 10 mins walk to the train station. The breakfasts were fantastic - perfectly cooked poached eggs with tasty local produce. The customer service was extremely good. We had a minor problem with the room which was dealt with really quickly. It can at times be a little bit noisy in the night, but this is as you'd expect from a seaside town in the height of summer and earplugs are provided for light sleepers. The hotel itself has seen better days and is a little bit worn but I know the new owners have big plans and I'm sure from what I've seen so far, they will do a fantastic job of bringing it into the 21st Century but keeping the charm and character of the place as well.
