Very small room with a tiny bathroom. Very laud toilet tank. The shower is in the middle of the tiny bathroom. The toilet is in a tiny corner. However, it is wonderfully located near everything.

Hotel is situated a 2 minute walk from Piaza Del Campino, if your driving the nearest parking is a 15 minute walkaway. Which makes the logistics a bit awkward. We had an economy room via the spiral stairs so travel light. Breakfast is at a cafe 50 metres away with a voucher. Room is small but very clean & tidy.

This place was nicely decorated, friendly staff and in the perfect location. The shower wasn’t separate from the rest of the bathroom so water went everywhere. Everything else was superb. Definitely not a one star hotel. Would stay here again.

The hotel has a great location and a fair quality for the price. The room was ok, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom very tiny.The hotel gives you a voucher for breakfast in a Caffé near by, that consists in 1 croissant and 1 cappuccino, no butter, no chease or ham.

Great location of the property. Staff were helpful and helped us find a doctor as well as I was sick and offered to translate if the Dr didn't speak English. The hotel is very close to the square so it's handy and only a short walk to public transport or the taxi stand is right outside if you prefer. The rooms are very small and basic, but clean and comfortable. If you are on a budget and want to stay in a close location to the sites in Siena, I would definitely recommend this Hotel La Perla

This is a one star accommodation in an excellent location at a very good price! So I would say all things considered its value for money. Clean tidy and everything you need. But its basic and you are awoken early with noise from other guests as the walls are thin ( earplugs would solve this!)

The hotel is in an excellent location within Siena, very convenient to all sites, restaurants, shops etc. While the rooms and hotel are quite basic, it is also very reasonably priced and nice and clean. The operator of the hotel was great - very friendly and helpful - as was the staff. We intend to stay at this hotel again.

Excellent location in the city. Hard to find this hotel even with GPS. Clean but small room, 3 flights of stairs. You can drive to hotel to unload luggage but have to go outside city walls to park and the lots are not easy to find. Staff very nice and helpful.

We had an attic room ( the one pictured). Clean, quiet and comfortable. The spiral staircase was definitely unique, but not a problem, even though we are seniors....61 and 73. Close to piazza and all we wanted in Siena

In the city center of old the old town. Very good location - but the room we got was in no way a pleasent room. I'm 195cm long and got to meet a room with a 180cm long bed and a door to the bathroom of the same height. This was after climbing a spiral stair five-sic meters up from were most of the room are located. A spiral stair which was just wide enough to bring the bags upstairs.. Make sure to get a room anywhere but at the absolute top floor.

This hotel was comfortable and close to all of the things we wanted to see. The staff was also very friendly. I would defintley stay here again and recommend it to others.

The location of the hotel is really great. 3 min walking distance from Piazza del Campo and there is a taxi station exactly outside of the hotel. The staff was great and the room pretty clean, although a little small. However, that wasn't a problem. I highly recommend this hotel.

This was a great find of a hotel, right in the middle of Siena. Hard to understand why it is 1 star or even listed as a hostel sometimes. I’d say 3 star - friendly, helpful staff, en suite rooms, fantastic location. OK, thin walls (we got a very excited child and the soundtrack of ‘Beauty and the Beast’ one night), and a bathroom that gives a new level of meaning to ‘compact’, but these are minor gripes. La Perla has an arrangement with a nearby cafe for breakfast at a very reasonable price. Access by stairs, so not disabled-friendly.
