There was no bar/lounge or laundry as described. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable.

Great place close to the city center!

We liked the friendly staff and the continental breakfast. We also liked the high ceilings in the rooms. The only negative was having to carry our heavy bags upstairs, but we would definitely stay at Hotel Accademia again!

30 ish room hotel in the academic zone within easy walk of key parts of the historic city, good bars and restaurants. Extremly helpful staff with excellent English. Welcoming environment. Rooms little basic, but clean and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Would stay there again. No negatives for me

This hotel was adequate. Breakfast very poor.

No AC in the breakfast and stairs area which made it unnecessary warm. The location of the hotel was great.

Very friendly and helpful reception staff. She made us an early breakfast because we needed to leave early. Location is great also. Perfect base to explore the pretty city of Bologna. Beds are nice too; had great night of sleep. If you want to use the parking at the hotel it's adviced to make a reservation because spots are limited. Highly recommended hotel!

Parking was key for us with a new Corvette. They promised parking and I got one locked inside secure gate... BUT it’s narrow entrance, inch each side ... but that’s Italy, small towns made for tiny cars or scooters

I have stayed many times. It is very clean and well run and affordable. The area is noisy, but the windows are pretty soundproof. Bathrooms have only a shower, no tub. Breakfast is good, but could be better.

Bologna is run down city full of graffiti the area where the hotel is reflect that. We would not comeback again.

The hotel was very easy to find in the heart of the University district and close to the centre. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was perfectly adequate with a good choice.

Great breakfast, very friendly staff. Clean room. The internet wifi was spotty the first day, but I complained about it and it got fixed the next day; very decent speed after that. The area is not the prettiest, but it’s a short walk to the hostoric center and University of Bologna. There are a bunch of nice trattorias close by. My only complaint was the AC system: it left a somewhat damp odor in the room so I just left the windows open and turned it on during the night. It wasn’t a big deal though. Even though the street noise was a bit loud, the room was very well insulated from it: after shutting the windows, it was very quiet. Also, the shutters allow complete darkness in the room which was great.

If you want to sleep, this is not the hotel for you. The rooms have been built with absolutely NO sound insulation - you can hear people halfway down the corridor flushing toilets and even whole conversations. And that that we were given a 'quiet' room! They were very accommodating with breakfast, as we needed to have it at 7, before they technically offered it. The pastries were stale, however, probably from the day before. The staff was very nice though, and very helpful.

The hotel wasn’t a good value for the price. The pictures didn’t properly set the experience and I expected it to be much better. The bathroom accommodations were sparse we had to go buy shampoo and conditioner. It was near the university so it was very loud and closing the windows made the room hot.

Overall it was an outstanding hotel.

This hotel when you walk in seems updated and nice. There is no elevators and the hall ways smell. We got to our room and it was dated and old and our bathroom smelled like someone died in it. We complained and they said there was nothing they could do since their hotel was full. They sprayed perfume and called it a day. It was so bad we had to go out and buy candles just to use it. The town was extremely loud all night and it seems it wasnt a safe neighborhood. Would not return.
