Nice hotel and room was clean

I thought someone was still in the first room I checked into. Dirty dishes in the dishwasher, opened bags of food in a drawer and dried spills in the fridge. There were no clothes, so whew, not in someone's room, but not going to be MY room either! Went back to desk and was given a different room. Housekeeping had finished the room, so much better condition, although the floor was gritty when I walked on it. Overall, the rest of the room was clean though. There were only 2 spoons, forks, knives, cups, bowls, plates, etc. in the room. Not many, when you consider you are using utensils and dishes for each meal. I ended up buying paper plates and plastic cutlery to cut down on running the dishwasher very often. It is unfortunate that the non smoking policy does not carry out into the gazebo. Basically, the gazebo was the smoking room. Anytime anyone was using it, they were smoking. Makes it very unappealing for non smokers. Same with the area outside the front door. It gives a bad impression when staff hangs around the door to grab a quick smoke - not to mention it forces people to walk thru their smoke cloud. The towels were nice, bed and pillows comfy and chair and little side table very convenient. This is a nice hotel with a few things that make it not as nice. Would I stay there again, yes. Just wish those few things were different.

The staff was great, very nice rooms. The neighbors were hanging out in the hallway at 1:00 a.m. and kept my daughter up.

Was here for Wisconsin State High School Track and Field Championships. I have stayed at this hotel previously. It is ideally located 5 minutes by car from UW LaCrosse. There is a Festival Foods grocery store across the parking lot and running/hiking trails within 1 block of the hotel. As this is an extended stay type of hotel, there is minimal interaction with staff, They were polite, not particularly outgoing. Rooms are at a premium the weekend of this track meet and the nightly cost is reflected. It is pricey, but not more so than any other comparable hotels. The cooking facilities in the each room is a bonus. I would stay here again.

Really friendly helpful staff. Hotel was clean though the furniture looked a little on the worn side. The studio suite was fine for a single person traveling. Plenty of room with a full kitchen, desk, recliner and bed. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Hotel was very quiet for Memorial Day weekend which was nice! Served as a good base to hit the trout streams in the area and fly fish. Definitely would recommend and hope to stay again in the future!

The hotel was very clean and quiet. The staff was very kind and patient with me extending my stay many times due to a family member being in the hospital.

Thanks to Candlewood for not having an indoor pool. No kids running back and forth in the halls. Nice and quiet for we travelers.

I liked that almost everything place we wanted to visit or a restaurant we wanted to dine at was 10 minutes away.

The front desk woman was so friendly and helpful. We were in town for a track meet and she was absolutely wonderful. The free coffee and fruit was a plus. Great workout and laundry facility and the shower head pressure was outstanding. Clean facility and loved all the dishes and storage containers.

Clean and comfy

This hotel is very tired. Peeling paint, rusting bath shower rail, mismatched furniture, cabinet doors out of alignment. Our refrigerator leaked when the ice maker was turned on. There were no towel holders in the bathroom-only one small hook. You would think an extended stay hotel would provide some way to hang up towels to reuse. We ended up paying a premium price for a so-so room. Staff was very friendly.

I got to the hotel and checked in...turns out they changed my room reservations from what i had booked 11 months ago! Was not pleased with them at all
