Check-in took over forty minutes to complete. Only one attendant at the front desk with three people in front of me. The long delay included issues with the other guests, including a missing reservation, issues with their reservation system and they were unable to print out the invoices and were forced to hand-write them.

Room was not clean! Hair in tub, on floor and bed. Sticky stuff all down the side of the night table and on floor. Mild/mildew on bathtub!

Have been there several times since the renovation. We find it very clean and modernly appointed. Have always liked the location and have been coming there for the last 25 years and will continue to stay there every time we come to Lakeland to visit family. We also find it to be a great value.

My stay was a nightmare. The staff who checked me at front desk wasn't the friendliest. Then they gave me a single bed instead of a double bed like I booked.
On top of that there was a big roach in my room. I have pictures which I'll post online in reviews. The manager called me and was rude at 1st and offered no apologies. The manage then tried to say they upgraded me for free from the outset but I never wanted a single bed because my wife and I had our 2 year old with me and need needed a double bed for our son.
The manager later met me before check-in out to apologize after realizing I was going to probably complain and write a review.
I wouldn't stay at Travelodge again nor recommend others staying there. Quality and cleanliness is terrible for my standard

This is a nice little hotel. It's connected to an IHOP and that made breakfast easy. Only coffee at hotel. I would definitely stay here again. Though located right by interstate, I did not hear road noise. Great pool and nice balconies and patio off each room. Only thing, bring your own washcloths. For some reason, they are really tight with them. Heard this in other reviews. Still, it's a nice hotel.

This hotel sits right by i-4 interstate, and we heard traffic all night long and therefore got terrible sleep. We were not able to change rooms due to the hotel being full, so we ended up by ear plugs to help us get to sleep the next night. I do not recommend this hotel, as there are plenty of others in the area that are not as close to the interstate.

Our short stay was awesome! We were in Lakeland for a few things, but one reason was to have a staycation and celebrate our anniversary. I told the hotel about our anniversary. Checking in was very easy. Our room had decorations and a card. The room was very nice and clean. I was surprised at how clean the hardwood floors really were. We could walk around barefoot if we wanted. The beds were so comfortable. I probably could have spend the entire time in bed!! The pool was large and heated. This hotel has the same ratings as other hotels that were more expensive. We took our shot with this hotel and not one single complaint. Don’t hesitate booking this hotel. I spent hours upon hours searching and looking at ratings. I am so glad this was the hotel we chose.

They front desk said they were putting $100 hold for incidentals which is extremely high for that type of hotel and when I checked out they had charged the $100 requiring you to wait for a refund. None of this was said and check in and when I called they said it is posted in the door. What I did see on the door was that they were doing construction from 9-5. Now I’m out of town and down $100 I wasn’t expecting.

Great visit- just a quick trip in town. Love having iHop next door! Front desk personnel on Saturday night was so nice! Staff was great. Great price- said there was construction going on but we didn’t experience it!!

My husband and I stayed one night and we stayed in a room with a balcony and king sized bed. The room was very spacious and clean. We also enjoyed the ihop that was open 24/7 right next to the travelodge. We really have no bad things to say about the stay. We'll definitely be back again.

I did not like staying here at all. I didn’t feel safe- there was a sliding patio door with only a flimsy lock and no further bar in the slider for protection (first floor room- patio open to common area).
The bathroom was not clean, the refrigerator didn’t work, and I had to pay an additional $100 deposit which they said will take up to a week to be refunded. I did not have pets- this is their policy.
I will not stay there again.
