When they say "One the Beach" they mean you are right on the sand when you step out the front door. Wonderful location and a beautiful view of the entire beach.
The are surrounding the hotel was also very lively with a good choice of restaurants, The recommendation from our host for the Italian restaurant across the beach was much appreciated - great meal.
I would definitely recommend the Inn on the Beach for a stay in the Ventura area.

This place is WORN OUT. The only reason to stay here is it's on the beach and has a balcony. The room is horrible, the place is a dump and there were sketchy people living here, smoking in their rooms and halls. The local Motel 6 would have been nicer and one-third the price. Do not stay here.

The location is outstanding and the rooms are well maintained. There is a choice of restaurant close by.
The price for a unit is reasonable. We will attend again.

Needs some upgrading, carpet was filthy. No Ac but there’s a fan and the beach breeze helps. Staff is very nice, I would stay again due to proximity to beach!

Fabulous oceanfront inn the smell of ocean air the sunsets are fabulous. The staff is so accommodating and helpful. Have been here for years and it’s just a pleasure to stay.

When I think of beach, I think of Inn On The Beach. You literally face the ocean as every room faces the ocean. If you open your balcony door, the waves will lull you to sleep. The continental breakfast is simple, but very filling. What a pleasure to be able to get hot coffee in a big cup, freshly brewed, even though they have a coffee maker in your room. I love the chocolate muffins! The staff is so welcoming and accommodating. I always ask for extra pillows and extra towels and they just smile and graciously provided.

The location on this property is absolutely perfect, great ocean views in a quiet little beach town, it's not too busy even in mid summer. There's a good selection of restaurants within walking distance,the 3 we tried were all very tasty!

I loved the room which was overlooking the beach. The furniture was outdated and the toilet backed up while we were there. It was way overpriced but we loved that it was right on the beach and all the restaurants were in walking distance. Don't know if I would stay there again for $335 a night.

Can't get much closer to the beach! Loved our stay. Very friendly staff! Needs some sprucing up, but it's a great hotel with beautiful views of the ocean! Every room has a view.

The hotel is located in a nice area away from all the busy areas and lots of people. It is convenient to downtown Ventura and the harbor. The value was worth what I paid and you have an ocean front view. I highly recommend this gem.

Super relaxing, reading a book on the patio, listening to the waves of the ocean. Beautiful view from your room. Even has a fireplace in your room for some romance if you needed that

We arrived greeted by Rafael, hotel room was lovely with a beautiful sea view, we thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay & look forward to returning in the future.

This property has a great location, and you can step out the door and onto the beach. This is an older property that has no A/C, and very few electrical outlets. Furnishings are very dated.

Literally ON THE BEACH. Wishing the shower curtain is longer so water doesn't escape from the shower area. Staffs are super tentative. We will come backinJune.

Beautiful and quaint ... right on the beach . Close to everything but worlds away. Very much worth it . Very small issue with the hot water in the sink and the "breakfast" is lacking but those are both quite minor .

Great location however the cold shower/lack of hot water made the Pacific feel warm. The furniture was strange, dated and in disrepair. The breakfast was terrible (some cereal in a plastic bin)

Loction! Location! Location! Friendly helpful staff. Room is quaint and cute with a very nice deck looking out over the beach. Bathroom was updated, but the shower handle was a little hard to get to work and very low water pressure in sink- minor things. The location is what you're paying for .

it was a last minute trip that i’m glad i found. right on the beach, awesome view and the sound of waves put us to sleep. We will return soon and stay longer when it warms up.
