The hotel is on the far side of Plitvice Lakes, a little bit further to get to but totally worth it as its far quieter than the main entrance area. You can access the park on foot from the hotel to P3 on the National park map. The hotel is made up of several buildings surrounded by well maintained gardens and is very peaceful, you can hear the birds chirping in the morning! The rooms have been recently refurbished to a good standard and are spacious, we had a junior suite which had ample room for the 4 of us, a fridge, microwave, sink and hob. The extra beds were 2 singles which my children were delighted with as they didn't have to share. The restaurant is a short walk away through the gardens and serves delicious local food, beer and wine. The staff are superb, (especially Erik and Vatroslav) they gave us excellent advise on how to experience the park avoiding the mass of day trippers and even collected our tickets for us. Nothing was too much trouble, our daughter turned 10 whilst we were there and they helped organise a cake for her! We stayed for 2 nights and would happily come back again to experience the hotel and area in a different season.

The reception desk staff was nice and professional, but the affiliated restaurant staff (even at etno house) was hopeless. Otherwise the hotel and rooms were great, and very good location.

We had a lovely time here, the people were helpful and accommodating and the room was very comfortable.

Within walking distance to the park. Very friendly and most accommodating staff. The room we stayed in was very comfortable and very cozy. The breakfast and coffee which was an additional charge was quite nice. We also opted for dinner at the Etno gardens. The food was all very fresh, and it was nice to have the option after a long day of traveling.

You can walk directly from the property into the park with no hassles...I imagine its easier than even being in the park, where youre subjected to large bus-tour groups. The hotel itself is charming. Comfortable apartment units suitable for any traveler or family. Great rates. Nice breakfast buffet and lovely outdoor dinner area.

Such a beautiful quaint spot for your to enjoy that cabin-like feeling while staying close to Plitvice Lakes. The staff was very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. I would highly recommend to stay here!

Out visit here was great! Finding the place with car was easy and they have good parking! We were there earlier then the check in but we wanted to have a whole day at the park and this wasn't a problem at the reception. The guy who worked there was really nice, informed us about the park and showed us the best way around (and yeah, it was the best way around :))! The hotel is next to the entrance 3 to the park and that is perfect! This is not the main entrance and therefor we didn't have to wait long to buy tickets and go in to the park, even if there were a lot of tourist! The hotel offered a three meal dinner at the evening that was perfect! My friend is vegan but that was no problem, they could adjust. The apartment was really nice, clean and a lot of place. We had to go early next day so we didn't have time to try the breakfast but it looked good, it was a buffe :)

Perfect location for exploring the national park. Just a short walk to one of the main entrances. Very friendly and helpful people at hotel- lovely peaceful location. Rooms are simple and very clean. Lovely breakfast. Thoroughly recommend- hope to return and stay longer next time.

You are here to be in some of the most beautiful nature youll ever see. This place feels right in it. A goup of nice 2-3 unit houses, very amenable housekeeping unit, but meals are served outside by the fireplace. Best of all is the very kind, helpful staff. Walk to the Park. The staff a as wonderful and the too me as spacious and nice. The wifi could use improvement but overall great place.

The staff was wonderful to us and helped us in every way possible. Tim and Matko stood out to us the most because of there attention to detail. Great job!

The hotel at the opposite side of main entrance 1 and entrance 2. There is no other restaurants or shops near there. You can either eat at hotel for dinner, or bring your food to cook yourself. Each room like an one bedroom apartment with living room and kitchen. The bathroom off living room, not connect with bedroom. It walk 6-7 min to the back entrance of park, and continue to walk another 8-9 min down to the boat launching site. You can walk at this side to the view point facing the high water fall at west side of park. No public transportation at this side of park. It is better to drive here. If you come to park by bus, it is better stay at main entrance side.

Great barbecue dinners, lovely friendly staff, clean rooms, very comfortable beds. Short walk to the lake (entrance 3). Only be warned that they do not accept credit cards.

We stayed only one night after a super but long day at Plitvikse Falls. We were warmly greeted and the rooms (we needed 2 for our family of 5) were simply furnished, comfortable and very clean. The staff is wonderful. Very cool location. Only negative- we were looking forward to the outdoor grill and picnic setting for dinner but it was not operating the night we were there - late June -- maybe not in season? There restaurant was good with good soup. Also, be sure to get directions and not follow the GPS from Plitvikse-- it lead us far astray!
