This property was dirty overall. The walls were dirty, the shower needed a good clean, the room smelt. The bathroom which faced the main road had no blinds for privacy; even though the glass was frosted it still would not provide the respectable privacy required. Overpriced at $179 per night. Stayed at several hotels during our tour of NZ that were cheaper and were excellent.

The property was ideally situated for me to take a short stroll to where I was working. But there is no shortage of choice when it comes to, pubs, restaurants, grocery stores, or hardware, and a wide selection of boutique breweries and shops.

I have stayed before and this time I was disappointed. The car parking was so bad I will not be going back. It was the car parking that attracted me to this property in the first place. Parking I could not get into, repairs on my car. Never again. Sorry

Our Foreshore unit while clean and well provisioned was a disapointment.
Tiny, cramped and more than a little tired, the interior of our unit certianly did not reflect the lovely brick facade outside.

Working in Petone, it was only and 5 minute walk to Jackson St and right on Marine parade. Unit was clean and tidy.

Two nights. Room was clean and well serviced with a kitchenette (Microwave, kettle, fridge). Bathroom was clean with a bit of wear in places. The shower gel dispenser was difficult to use properly but nothing major.
The motel is well located with only a short walk to many restaurants and a supermarket close by. It is also located close to SH2 which make it easy access.

Lots of things we liked- close to the beach, shopping, restaurants, Petone is a busy place from what i remembered so Jackson street too busy no parks but where we stayed was great.

A handy motel if you're after something that is pragmatic & basic. Even though there are signs of natural wear, the cleanliness & tidiness of the property is spot on. Staff is helpful & lovely. Handy location to shops, restaurants/cafes on Jackson Street & Shoreline cafe, right around the corner from the supermarket & best of all, it's right across the road from the beach & my favourite Seashore Cabaret!

Stayed here the night. Pretty basic. A bit run down. Very expensive for what it is. Microwave had broken internal glass. Mismatch stuff Very old damage. Kitchen brush disgusting. Better value for money in Central wellington

Firstly My wife was surprised there was no SKY TV! We just assumed it was still there. You may want to update the motel guest books in the room.. I notice the last date for this was 2013 on the tv channel page. Your carpark is tight for modern vehicles and some people could be forced to park on the road if you are not in early. I managed to park by the office on the first night because of congestion in the carpark... Yes cars and utes and bigger now than ever or are they? Remember Valiant and Falcon in the 1970s? I guess the motel was built in the late 1970s? .. Just pay to change the kitchen light bulb.. Other wise I enjoyed it
