Excellent location

The room was clean bed was nice. It is a hostel not a full fledge hotel. But I liked it and thought it just fine. The street it is on had a number of bars so it did have a noisy night. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The lift was broken,therefore 5 flights to climb with a suitcase.Sleepless night twice due to noisy bar on street Inadequte bathroom products,tiny towel and uncomfortable bed.Room lacked charm and there was a price hike for Wednesday Dont ecen think about this low rent joint.

My room was perfect for me as a solo traveler - it was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortable and I had everything I needed. It’s a small hotel so the front desk staff sometimes had to step away but they were easy to buzz on the rare occasion I needed them. The location can’t be beat either - I walked to all sorts of tapas bars, the botanical garden, the Prado, etc. and you’re a quick walk to the Sol metro station. Will absolutely stay here again when I’m back in Madrid!

The location is fantastic, minutes from plaza Santa Ana, and from Sol. Many many restaurants and stores, can walk to el Retiro and museums as well. We had a car, so parking was a bit of a challenge, as was driving into the area. But if you are using the metro, area can't be beat. Staff was very helpful as well. Bed was comfortable. Room sparkling clean and funky comfortable chair with matching drawers. Would stay again!

Nice hotel in the heart of Madrid, very busy all around it. Close to the must see landmark, but the only thing I didn’t like is the rooms are not soundproof.

The room was nice but the wifi was not good. Signal was too weak and kept loosing connection

Linen was very good, bed great. Lightning could be better. Wifi only works in the rather small reception.

My hubby and I were so pleasantly surprised by this place! We were only in Madrid for a few hours so went for something low priced and convenient in location (arriving by Renfe at Atosca and leaving by plane at Madrid Barajas and walkable to Plaza Mayor & Mercado de San Miguel & San Gines Chocolate). The room was much nicer and bigger than expected. It was nice having an elevator to bring bags up the stairs. The bathroom and shower was also clean. It got a little noisy outside on a Friday night, we didn't realize how much night life was on that street. Not a big deal though.

Easy to find. A bit difficult after 6 PM when the one gentleman was running multiple hostels but he was most helpful!

Location is great as convenient to attractions. Size of room is good with a Samsung TV which you can mirror your programs. Only downside is there’s no real reception desk as the building has 5-6 hostals in one. Also, you have to take a very old-fashioned lift up and down but it’s fun to ride…never seen it before.

The location was amazing. Close to everything. I would stay here again.

We were ideally placed to walk within the centre of Madrid. Our room was relatively spacious but not as good as advertised. Still, I would recommend for the frugal tourist like us!

Great place to stay overall! Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is central and walkable to everything we wanted to see. Also a 5 minute walk away from the metro. I would definitely stay here again.

In an old building that’s not easy to find. Small sign next to iron gate along side other hotels that share the same building. on 2nd floor. Lift available, but small. Rooms modernised and simple. Clean. But….this place is noisy! No avoiding this as it’s located on a street and next to a square that’s full of bars and restaurants. Noise can be excessive and prolonged often until 4 am. Take earplugs!!

Staff were super friendly and check-in was very easy. Room was large, had a functioning mini fridge and a nice sized washroom. The hotel is in the middle of a very hip area, full of cool little bars and tapas restaurants. Would highly recommend for anyone! Hotel is located on the second floor, you can either access by stairs or old school elevator.

The staff here are absolutely wonderful and so hospitable. Our room was very clean, comfortable and the location is perfect. I would definitely recommend staying here.

I loved this place! And it should have a better rating in my opinion. Everything about it was perfect!

I loved the whole deal, the elevator and the bidet.. bed was soft pillows were perfect... Should be rated much higher. And the area around is amazing!

We have stayed here several times. We live in Texas, but have a home in Navarre. We typically fly into Madrid the day before we fly back to the states. Plz Santa Ana is our favorite.. we have a favorite La Bisbal style restaurant down the road on Principi and a small bar we go to on Cruz a few blocks away for Padron Peppers...and then shop. So we are after a clean room and nice place to sleep. Not as fancy as the main hotel in the plaza - we've stayed there too several times...and others in the area. This hostel is a well priced clean room. We are after enjoying Madrid, and a good bed for the night. This hotel fits the bill.

You cannot ask for anything more. Excellent price, big room, clean, quiet, comfortable, friendly staff. Exceeded all my expectations.
