We stayed at this hotel for our first night away as parents. We loved the location we were able to walk everywhere on cannery row and were able to drive off easily to other parts of town. Front desk was friendly and helpful, we were able to check in early which was nice. We were on the 4th floor and felt like we had the place to ourselves. I loved the security features on the elevator to get to and from. The room was clean and well kept. My only concern was the fridge didnt feel very cold and I dont think the windows were sitting right. The one in the bathroom I could see had a gap from the window to the frame and the ones in the room wiggled in the frame and there was a lot of condensation on the windows in the morning. Other than that i feel like i had a great experience and would come back again.

Great hotel in fantastic spot in Monterey just steps from Cannery Row! Nice rooms, reasonably priced and super nice staff. I’m glad to see now that it’s changed from the Otter Inn (which we used to enjoy) it’s still a very nice place to stay, and the upgrades are a big improvement.

We had a lovely stay at the Wave Inn. Our room had a view of Monterey Bay. I was surprised that housekeeping tidied the room each day.The staff was friendly and helpful.

The location is great - within walking distance to just about everything. The inside of the property is dated and needs a face lift. Room was clean and bed was comfortable.

Just a 2 day getaway... Like they say... location, location, location.The hotel is fine... The lady that checked us in was nice and helpful. The hoteCould use a deep cleaning... The carpet was a little dirty... Decorative pillows too ... But you can literally walk to pretty much anywhere on Cannery Row

Day staff was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable…..Close to all amenities, like drugstore, restaurants, coffee shops……I would just like to say, the pillows were amazing…..Best pillows, I’ve ever used……I googled the name and brand….I have already ordered them online……They are amazing.

It was a great stay, within walking distance to all activities at Cannery Row and the Aquarium. There is a $17, daily parking fee, but that is better than having to find parking everyday. Once parked, walked everywhere.

That walkway needs to be replaced! It's dangerous. I'm talking about the catwalk over the second-floor courtyard. It sinks in many places. I have an unsteady walk and every one of the many divots from rotten or broken boards fouled up my gait even worse. I have two artificial knees, not uncommon anymore, and I was always very nervous about falling because of the numerous soft spots hidden under that gray carpet. If I'd fallen on my knees my much-anticipated vacation would have ended. The rest of the place and the help were great. Our room was 315.

This location cannot be beat, they offer on site parking for 17.00 a day, very handy. My bed and room was very comfortable. I have read on other reviews where people complained of the people in the room above walking around, we experienced that same thing, very annoying. Wifi was hit or miss but they said they were having issues, so I will accept that and not make an issue of it. Would I stay here again? Absolutely, I would just be sure to ask to be on the top floor.

Perfect for a quick getaway. Right in the middle of the "row" so its a super convenient location and very walkable. CVS is a block away, which is great because I always end up forgetting to pack something. The rooms were decent and had a nice wiew. Bummed we didn't stay long enough to enjoy the fire pits.
