What a great find in Carlsbad. The house was easy to find, the parking was right in front of the house, and the room was outstanding. The owner worked with us on a minor issues, not her fault (water main broken) and she was easy to reach and communicate with. We had a small studio apartment in the back of the property. Included a small kitchen, large refrigerator, sofa, chair, small table, king size bed and bathroom. The room was in great shape, clean and inviting. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of blankets if you need them. The unit was well supplied, with things like plates, wine glasses, towels and paper. She left chocolate next to the bed, coffee on the counter and chocolate chip cookies on the table. :) The house is surrounded by businesses, but more like dentist offices and such, all closed by the time we arrived and not an issues. Two doors down was a bakery, which you are given a credit to get breakfast. Outstanding food. My number one choice for the area if I were to return in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was quiet and comfortable. We would have loved to hang out in the lovely courtyard, but the extreme heat wouldn’t allow it. The cat welcoming committee was a nice touch too.

I was on the road when I booked this room. I did not take the time to really look at the details. I strictly picked a place with a high guest rating. When I arrived, I realized it was a Bed and Breakfast. I typically don't use B&B's because of the sometimes community setting and occasional shared facilities. This place was absolutely the best room I have ever stayed in. The rooms are all separated with individual outside entrances. My room was the "Sailors Hornpipe". It had its own climate control and full bathroom. The decorating was awesome with the ships captain theme. My only regret is that I did not have the time to stay longer. Very clean, very friendly owner on site. I would highly recommend the Fiddler's Inn.

Fiddler's Inn is like staying at a friend's home. We were in the Orange Blossom Suite; it was adorable, and there were so many nice touches and amenities, like homemade cookies! Jenn was an amazing host! She made sure to contact us and communicate with us. She was very responsive to our questions. The breakfast offered two doors down at the bakery was wonderful, and the general location right in downtown Carlsbad make this property an ideal location.
