The facility and staff were wonderful. I quiet private beach. Great view. Nice breakfast. Comfortable bed.

Sadly a disappointing stay here…. First of all this is not a hotel….its focus is as event venue….with a handful of rooms for guests to stay-over. Facilities for guests are limited…..for example the restaurant and small bar are closed at 8pm. Nothing else to do here….and need to walk quite a long way to find other dining options.
Having said that, the ocean view room was spacious, clean and comfortable and good shower.
Service levels from staff could really do with improving. Waited ages for someone to bring a dinner menu…..and finally went and found one myself. Staff walk past without greeting you in the morning….and most annoying of all I had to battle with staff to get a coffee at breakfast time ! A very limited menu allows you to pick three breakfast items and either a juice of coffee. Feeling thirsty I asked for a coffee and juice. The reply was ‘sorry sir, you can have one or the other’ ! After threatening to go back to my room and bring the complimentary coffee sachet and kettle down, she relented and said, ok Sir we will give you coffee. And this is for a room at 8,800 pesos per night including breakfast. Just very poor overall…….

My stay here was exceptional and the staff were beyond friendly and accommodating. The meals were excellent, and eating a free breakfast while overlooking the ocean was a great start to my mornings. I forgot to pack an adaptor for my phone, but the staff was quick to loan me one. Lastly, not going to lie, I also fell in love here…with one of the cats roaming the property. Strong recommend!

This hotel gives you a very nice view of the calm waters of Cebu. Very near easy-to-access water activities too. Seafood plate was good. The hotel crew were very nice!

Chateau by the Sea did not disappoint. When I first arrived I had an issue with my shower but they fixed it right away for me. The staff was so friendly and helpful and the view and meals were wonderful. They were so accommodating and kind I wouldn't hesitate to return. The breakfast was as amazing as the view, I really enjoyed their pool and the beach is really nice. They also were very friendly and kind to some guests that visited me there, I recommend this place highly.

Better late than never. Visited in jan. This place has amazing staff and beautiful views. the team of this property made sure than I have the best of everything. From the providing a room with the best view, best food, best arrangements to visit the attractions and many more. I literally cannot stop thanking to the team which made my stay memorable.

The staff were extremely friendly but I felt there was was nothing premium about the very basic room. there was no balcony, the air con was very noisy which affected sleep the pools were not the cleanest, the veggie options on the menu were non existent except for 1 salad or french fries, luckily we aren't vegan as the options for breakfast were eggs and toast If the staff weren't so nice i would have changed hotel

It is a small resort so not so crowded. nice swimming pool.
The hotel staffs are very kind but the breakfast is very poor. Thats needs improvements.

This hotel was excellent. We had a beautiful view of the ocean, the pool was nice and warm and the staff was wonderfully courteous, polite and attended to our every need. We will stay here again next time we are in the Philippines

I loved everything about this place, amazing Service, beautiful scenery, excellent food. The manager is incredible and went above and beyond for me. I couldn't recommend this place any higher, it was the perfect stay!

This place has only 14 rooms so it’s not crowded. The property is very beautiful and peaceful. The pool is very nice and the beach a small but very nice. Good place to take pictures. Staff very friendly. The breakfast is pretty good as well. Overall I have no complaints at all. The ONLY suggestions I give is add a spa with the hotel. I will be back at this hotel many more times.

Hotel location is quite far from any shop. Breakfst is bad, lots of ants eating together. Room and staff is ok. Overall, I will try other hotel and this will be my last choice.

The location is very far from the nearest mall (25mins) or anything of interest - meant for those who want to be away from the hustle and bustle of Cebu.
Airport is 30 mins away.
The place itself is more of a venue place for parties/weddings etc.
Pool is small but clean and the small stretch of sandy beach is nice but not ideal for swimming.
A small residence building houses the accommodations area w/ rooms that are spacious and clean but dust and ?dirt can be seen on the edges of the room.
Bottled water and toiletries are provided.
Breakfast was okay, if not mediocre. Fresh fruits were provided. Lunch/dinner available ala carte - great BBQ and sinigang.

The CBTS was how I imagined it to be having researched it before I chose a two week stay there. Its seclusion really appealed to me, I wanted to unwind with peace and quiet and that's what I got. The one thing that made this place differ from other hotels I've stayed in all over the world was the staff on the ground, the frontline staff, they were so friendly and really went far and beyond there job rolls...Because I travelled alone to the other side of the world at first was a bit daunting to say the least, this was when the ground staff without any effort just did what the Filipinos do best which was to take me under their wing and really make me feel welcome and at times be one of the family... Thank you for that CBTS, you are locked in my brilliant memory section forever. I will never forget you.

Well I like the room my biggest problem was no hot water if you like cold shower this is excellent I like to take warm shower that is why my rating is just ok the breakfast was good nothing especial the beach is really not beach to swim the pool is nice overall I will never return just because of the shower

Amazing stay, room is very spacious just a little run down here and there on furnitures. Bathrobes were stained, so check before you use. Breakfast was not bad, just that food were not very heated up.Service is superb! Staffs were very friendly and helpful.

We had an amazing stay at the hotel. The room is big and clean. The staff are friendly and the pool is so clean and the beachfront has an amazing view

It was changed because it was a rooom beside the restaurant.There is also a musty room. However staff members are friendly and take care gests very well.
Beach is not big but water is so clean.
I would like to visit again.

The place was a nice venue for special occasions such as birthdays, weddings and company outing but not ideal for swimming.

It was an ok property on the island close to friends at Moevenpick Resort

We paid to upgrade our room to one w two queen beds however the bathroom toilet was leaking, the in room safe was broken and the door lock broke after the first night. We also asked for extra towels and I noticed that the towels and linen were old, some sheets had little stains and even had holes in them. The staff was probably the best part of the stay. All of them were kind, helpful, friendly and polite to my entire family. I think the owners can spend a little to update simple things like the towels and bedding and making sure the rooms are in proper working order which would have made it such a more pleasant stay. With these minor changes we would definitely come back again.
