Entertainment were great. Food was good. Staff were great.

My best friend and I had a great time at the resort on our girls trip! The only issue we really had was that the wifi didn’t work for two out of the 4 days we were there and we ended up having to turn on our data to stay in contact with our families. Otherwise the resort was wonderful and the staff was great! We definitely felt safe coming to a new place. Shoutout to Justin at reception who was always there to help us when we needed it!

Disappointing Stay at Riu Reggae, Montego Bay, but Great Entertainment** Our experience at Riu Reggae was largely disappointing. The resort felt much smaller than what was advertised, especially the beach, which was tiny. Luckily, it wasn’t crowded during our stay, so we found some space. The pools were shallow—barely three feet deep—which was surprising for an adults-only resort. Cleanliness was also an issue throughout the property. The food was another major downside. For the first time ever, we found ourselves not enjoying a single meal at a resort. Service was subpar despite consistent tipping. The staff seemed generally inattentive, and when we raised safety concerns, particularly regarding local kayakers who were approaching us on the beach and offering drugs, the staff said there was nothing they could do since the beach wasn’t private. This made us feel unsafe. Another issue we weren’t aware of before arriving was that marijuana smoking seemed to be allowed in certain areas of the resort. Additionally, some guests were playing loud music directly from their phones, even at the dining tables, which made it hard to enjoy meals in peace. The spa was also disappointing. I paid $70 expecting a professional blowout, but it felt more like having my hair brushed with a dryer—not worth the price at all. The one bright spot, however, was the entertainment. The entertainment team did an amazing job; I’d give them 10 stars if I could. They were engaging and fun.

Definitely got my monies worth. Excellent value for what I paid. The room could have been better and my neighbors could have been a bit more considerate. Food was good, namely breakfast and lunch. Quick taxi ride to Doctor's Cave Beach was a plus and a short walk to a pharmacy, ATM that offers USD and grocery store was good. I was able to take advantage of the late check out option which was a plus given I had a late flight out. Overall I would say an 8.4/10 for the stay, Activities 9/10 and food 8.5/10.

We had an amazing trip! The people were so kind, hotel was always clean, food was so good. I would go back again.

Enjoyed the stay, Beds were small. Food was okay for resort. Would suggest being able to stop in at resturants to make reservations during the day or at least have a sign up sheet. But in all in all it's Jamaica Man, Always a good time. One Love!

Stayed here twice...people are great...always transportation around hotel...food is also good...sometimes it is nice having no children around the facility to kids enjoy yourself

This property does not offer room service which is inconvenient. For this to be a “party resort” the music was very blah outside of the silent party. The choices of food were limited, most guests left off the resort to get food. My room was noisy it sounded like someone was trying to get into my room but it turned out to be the fridge.

This property the RIU REGGAE & RIU montego bay IS VERY DISGRACEFUL VERY RUDE VERY Disrespectful they Do not CARE FOR GUEST SAFETY AT ALL THEY LET THEIR EMPLOYEES & Security “A Walker” is his name to HIT & PUSH ON WOMEN without Any Consequences my family was treated very very poorly for whole week, Without doing fully investigations they will kick your whole family members out of the hotel without finding out the truth to any situations with their Staff & Employees. THEY HEAD SECURITY FOR THE ENTIRE PROPERTY IS WOMEN WHO IS VERY NASTY AN VERY RUDE. She’s very manipulative to her peers. I WILL NEVER EVER STAY AT RIU EVER AGAIN.

Resort is very small. All the action is at the neighboring resorts, the best one out the 3 are us Riu Montego Bay. Thank me later

The bed was uncomfortable and they only gave us a sheet for a cover no blanket no cover. The resort is very small the and the food was mediocre

The property was small. The real downside is the lack of beach towels they have on the property. Everyday around 1pm they had no towels. I advise you get to the towel spot early. Besides that it was a great time.

theres no room service. the food in the buffet is either cold or just rock hard. staff very unfriendly. just an overall terrible resort will never come here ever again. reconsider if you think of coming here. price doesnt align with what it comes with terrible.

If you want to have a great time look no further. You have access to RIU Montego Bay as well. The staff is amazing. Food is delicious. Parties are so fun. It’s a must go
