I had a terrible experience with this Hotel. BEWARE THERE ARE 2 HOTELS WITH THE SAME NAME LOCATED 55 km apart. I booked this hotel through HOTELS.COM (EXPEDIA) which I had the worst experience. First Hotel charged 90% of the room rate for 4 nights. When I found out I try to cancel but Hotel did not allowed. I THINK THEY LOVE MONEY MORE THAN THE CUSTOMER. I had a conference in Erding Munich where Hotel is recommended by the organizers. So I went in hotels.com web site made my reservation by looking at hotel pictures etc. Then I finished booking but I found out that web site has changed to another hotel with the same name 45 miles away. Of course I tried to cancel or at least pay the first night fee but Hotel & Gaststätte zum Erdinger Weißbräu in Munich did not allowed to cancel. Manager of the hotel was not helpful at all. He offered if they book the same room within a day may be could refund my money through Hotels.com. Ohh my god Every morning travelling from GrosHaden to Erding 2 trains and one and a half hour. Hotel is clean but expensive (paid 5.5 € for 1 Liter of water) After I found out that breakfast costs 11.50 € I tried other places across the street and even REWE (supermarket). Anyway I will NOT use HOTELS.COM again nor will stay Hotel & Gaststätte zum Erdinger Weißbräu (A Classic-German arrogant establishment) I hope you will stuck somewhere in the world like me.

A great stay at a lovely comfortable hotel/gasthaus! Very well maintained, very clean, very nice helpful staff. In all ways, a perfect stay!

Stayed in their smallest room and was surprised it was so big. The entire place has been renovated, even has a USB port beside the bed. The restaurant was amazing and the staff friendly. Walk to the U-Bahn in 2 minutes maximum. Area is quite, but a quick ride on the U-Bahn to Marienplatz or Oktoberfest.

Fantastic hotel. Great location, staff were amazing could not do enough for you. Food and drink were both awesome. Cant wait to stay again

Our only major issue was that motion activated lights in bathroom were overly sensitive causing excessive light at night. Also, there was often no staff available in evening and night.

Clean - modern - great restaurant and beer garden. Close to underground (15 minutes to city center) and in a quiet residential neighborhood. Only drawback - Air conditioning is actually “cooled ceiling” which is ineffective.

Lovely and very clean hotel. The only problem was the air conditioning was not working in our room. We ask twice before departing for the day times 2 days and each evening we came back it was the same. We said something upon check out and I was told I needed to tell her. Well how would we have known to let her know? Other than a very warm evening of sleep it was a very nice place.

the location is away from downtown Munich but very close to subway. This was perfect for peace and quiet. The front desk is only open till 9 pm. No ac but was a nice cool evening. There is a beer garden attached so imagine it will be noisy when warmer weather comes. Beautiful hotel and nice small town with lots of shops and restaurants.

This hotel was excellent. From the staff to the restaurants to the hotel room. They went out of there wavy to take care of us. I will be going back next year to Germany and would only stay here. Close to the train. A 2 minutes walk. Great pastry shops near by. I would give them a 100 per cent

Hotel was excellent, everything is fairly new, very clean and restaurant on-site was good. I really enjoyed having free parking - it is a 5 minute walk to the subway and it is in the inner circle. Room was warm at night but once we opened the window we were very comfortable.

The suite was perfect for family of four adults. Food in the restaurant was awesome. Ate dinner twice there it was so good.

Wonderful time in Munich, and hotel was excellent

Nice, quiet and convenient location, near bus and metro station. Very welcoming, including amenities such as coffee, tea and a free bottle of water and beer. A traditional building, nicely renovated.

Beautiful hotel close to ubahn.... lovely room and atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Room back half had And angled ceiling that we continuously bumped our heads against. The shades were not blackout shades, so we woke up when the sun rose. But worst of all, the air-conditioning didn’t work. By the middle of the night the room temperature with at least 75

Very clean, newly renovated but with Bavarian style. Easy parking in own garage. All good.
