Breakfast was disappointing. Room was good but staff weren't very friendly.

The hotel is very near to the metro station, the room was clean. Breakfast was good, no coffee available. The only thing was that the lobby is under construction and it was dirty, they tried to clean it.

We stayed at Life Corner for a week. Our trash can was not emptied out & our towels were not changed for the first three days. I threw my used towel on the floor & it was put back on the hook in the bathroom. The staff did not speak English & it made communication very difficult. Thankfully the two managers could speak English and helped up out with issues that came up. The masseuse who works for the hotel was rude to us & had an attitude because she didn’t know English. We actually was thinking about getting a massage but she was so rude that we didn’t not to do business with her. How could hotel staff at a big city not speak English? :(
The building looked abandoned in some areas such as the shower by the downstairs pool was covered with construction trash & not in a working condition. The garage looked neglected too, same with the little room on the roof that our room window was opening too. :( The hotel was located in the front of the metro & next to a mosque & very noisy. Our room was too hot that we couldn’t sleep at night. The AC was old & not go above 18 Celsius. Will never stay at this hotel again. Mehmet, one of the managers was super friendly & helpful though. Shout out to him for helping us while we stayed at Life Corner.

Havvki is an amazing guy he made our stay very nice and welcoming. We had a problem with the AC but he changed our room. Location is perfect

This hotel is such great value for money.The room was spotles good size and the breakfast was delicious. The staff were extremely friendly most of them had perfect english and they were always ready to help you if needed. . I definitely will be booking to return next year. Its in a perfect location right beside the train station

Hotel was basic but clean. We found breakfast to be limited with little change from day to day. Staff were courteous and helpful. The room was small but clean. Following a conversation with our bank manager who was born and raised in Izmir we learnt that the local area was not the best and frequented by a less than savoury element and with hindsight we would have to agree with this view. That said we were within 30 minutes or so walk to the seafront area, Alsanjac (excuse the spelling) and it's many bars and eateries and Konak with its square, clock tower and bazzar. In conclusion we think that 35 euro per night is good value as breakfast is included and WiFi is available throughout the hotel, including in room at no extra cost. Although we didn't experience any problems in the area I would advise caution.

This hotel is lovely. Very modern, very comfortable and beautifully fitted rooms. The location is great, close to the main roundabout and a close walk to the bazar. However, do not stay on the 7th floor whatever you do, request a lower floor room. The 8th floor is the restaurant, and for some reason there is not a single bit of insulation or soundproofing beneath the floor. At 6.30am the sound begins and it was so loud I actually thought someone was in my room, it was shocking and scary. Every footstep, and every move of a chair shook my room. I was very displeased but knew I would not be able to sleep even if I changed rooms and was only there for a night. This hotel is a amazing if they can guarantee you a room on a lower floor. The trains can make a lot of noise but usually stop honking their horns around midnight.

Wanted somewhere convenient in Izmir to explore the promenade & bazar but reasonably priced - life corner did exactly that. It's a 15min walk to the water or 20mins if meandering through the bazar. There's dedicated covered parking at the side of the hotel & breakfast is served on the top floor with views across lower town.

The room is nice and clean, and near the train station and bus station. But the smells of toilet fills the room. The room always smells bad.
