Good room, clean with hot water and good heating. Free parking, but small. Don't want how is parking at high season. Quiet area, with some shops and restaurants. Nice staff.

Overall a good experience. The staff are really caring and accommodating. Badic hotel room but clean. I would stay again as it is close to amenities and no problems whatsoever.

It was not pleasant place to stay on main road, no AC smoking rooms, beds not comfortable blankets too small if you're 5"10 and overall not worth staying in.

Ok for a night or two

We stayed here before catching an early flight from the airport. Room was clean and comfortable and a good size, staff helpful and friendly We only had a short stay but had no issues. Because of its location, the road outside is a very busy but we had a room at the front and it wasn't too noisy

Clean hotel and friendly staff. Nice breakfast buffet and the location is fairly convenient to the airport. There is some shopping within a few blocks, easy walking distance. They allow pets and there are a few small parks to take a walk with your pet (stray dogs). We asked for a "wake up" call because we had a flight at 5:30am - but the call was not made and because I woke up and saw the time we scrambled like firemen to get a taxi called to the hotel, get packed, and checked out of the room to get to the airport. We got to the airport check-in too late and missed our flight.

Great location. 10 minutes from airport, 10 minutes from rental car, staff extremely helpful. Reasonably priced. We had a bit of trouble getting connected to wifi. The Turkish breakfast buffet was outstanding with its variety of olives, cheeses, breads and fruit. We liked our stay so much we booked another night befire leaving Turkey.

Great value and easy access to amenities. Seven minute walk to the metro which is two stops from the airport.

I had 18 hours between flights, so mostly needed to store luggage & a place for shower, etc to rest. For the low price, this place was spotless & the room was very comfortable, frosty AC for once!

The hotel is currently being refurbished in stages with the "New wing" where i stayed already completed. This has almost a boutique hotel-like appearance and my experience was excellent in all respects including service ( a free shuttle to the nearby Izmir airport if someone is available was unexpected - its only 5-7 mins from the hotel) . Nothing negative to report on (unusual for me as I usually spent 100+ nights a year in various hotels for work). Actually, I considered the hotel's pricing schedule to be somewhat lower than expected for the level of accommodation provided - and said so at check-out! A 25% room rate price increase would NOT be unrealistic and I think even warranted given the new wing's standards. I shall be returning to Turkey and Izmir again in Jan 2020 for work and WILL be staying AGAIN at the Hackan for its comfort AND convenience to nearby amenities (restaurants etc less than 50m away) as well as its overall good value! Overall 8.5 -

The hotel is situated very close to the city. Its ideal for walks to local shops.The staff were wonderful. Suzzane was very helpful and gave me a cup of English tea. It was a fairly nice price (roughly 240 euros for 9 nights) for a hotel so close to the airport but still close enough to bars, restaurants, night clubs, grocery stores and the subway. The people working there were mixed when it came to levels of service mind and friendliness but overall the staff were nice and welcoming. A bit of a minus was the 5GB limit on Wi-Fi that you had to log in to in order to use fully and you needed to reconnect a lot since it disconnected automatically after a while. This also made it hard if you had multiple devices such as phones, laptops and Chromecast, as in my case. Had to work around that to use the Chromecast. The Wi-Fi speed was okay and I had no issues most of the time. The bathroom in my room was nicely decorated but the shower had a problem draining the water which caused it to stay in the shower if you didn't move the water down manually with your feet. The shower head was also fairly low if you're taller than average (I'm 188 cm and I almost hit my head on it). The bed was comfortable and there was good air-conditioning and there was a smart-TV in the room but sadly it wasn't connected to the internet which kind of defeats the purpose with a smart-TV. Overall score: 8/10, would recommend if you order it a fair bit in advance so you get the good price.
