Great location.Sone issues getting in to the apartment (they gave us the wrong code!). Only 3 cups and 4 items of cutlery and plates for an apartment that supposedly sleeps 5 or 6. Someone turned up with extra mugs when we asked but they were dirty!
However, the apartment is comfortable and has the best locatioon

Convenient location. Fast and helpful feedback from the apartment team. Our family had a great time and we highly recommend this property.

Excellent location and well kept apartment. The only downside I see is that the building does not have elevators. So carrying luggage upto the 4th floor could be challenging for some people.

This place is a dump. It’s not taken care of. Stained pillows and linens stuffed in the wardrobe. Chipped dishes, broken drawers. Balcony was dirty and unusable. Really not worth the price. We stayed in apt. 201 but it’s hard to see what unit you are booking on Expedia. Wouldn’t stay here again even if it were free.

The apartment was nice and clean. Cupboards quite worn off but that was not an issue for us. Limited quantity of tableware but we made it work. So, overall review of the apartment, quite nice.
However, there were other things that made this whole experience difficult. (I always use hotels.com because up until now I have always been satisfied with whatever acommodation I book and the whole process around it.) This time I was surprised to be contacted by a 3rd party by text message, asking for a credit card and a picture ID. I am not used to this when booking at hotels.com and if I would have been notified when booking that I would be contacted directly by the company that owns the apartments, having to send them these information, it would have been much nicer as I would have expected that. But this came to me as a surprise and it was not easy getting it confirmed that this was legit.
The worst thing though was endless problems getting in to the house. The code I got sent didn´t work and calling service number for another code took way too long. The new code we recieved did not work and overall it took a lot of time before getting in. The next day the number pad to get inside the house was dead (we contacted maintainence and waited) but because we had somewhere important to be, we ended up leaving without knowing if we could get in at all when coming back. It was not a nice feeling. I think the company was trying their best but I guess we were just unlucky.

Fabulously located apartment in the heart of Reykjavík. The apartments are clean, well equipped and comfortable. Let down slightly by the entrance and stairwell which could benefit from a face lift.

Great spacious apartment in central location. Comfortable beds and clean fresh bedding. Towels a little worn. Kitchen had plenty of equipment and enough crockery, glassware etc. Apartment could benefit a deep clean high areas and men’s pants found in washing machine. Due to central location we did have some noise in street until late, but this could be expected.

Location is the most excellent part of this place. Easy access to shops and restaurants. The host is a great communicator. The unit is older but clean. Kitchen has dishes and basics. We enjoyed our visit.

We had a wonderful stay here at this comfortable and clean apartment situated right in the heart of Reykjavik. We stayed in the winter, but it may be very busy in warmer months. I would highly recommend this property as there is everything you need nearby, it is a lovely place, and the communication and ease of use with owners was excellent.

Situated in the heart of downtown, Iðunn Apartments offers convenient walking distance access to all the area's attractions. It's an excellent choice for first-time tourists such as ourselves.The apartment itself is impeccably clean and cozy. The fully equipped kitchen of the apartment, coupled with the proximity of the Bonus grocery store, caters to those who prefer to prepare their own meals. Communication with Iðunn Apartments management is also commendable.

This flat ended up being our perfect last minute home away from home! Our travel plans changed due to weather conditions and the property management team was so kind in helping us stay for an extra night! The space was cozy, comfy and right in the heart of the Reykjavík shopping, food and drink scene. We’ve already thought about planning a future trip back.
We had a balcony overlooking the main streets and a kitchen to prepare breakfast for family staying at a hotel down the street.
Great stay altogether and wonderful communication with the management!

Property was easy to find, well located on a busy and active pedestrian street, but still easy for any of our tour guides to find when they swung by to pick us up. A very bustling area, but at the same time we're 3 stories up and the space is quiet when we needed it to be.

Some newer updates to apartment, several flights of stairs to get to it. Great location, in the heart of downtown (means also a bit late night street noise). Clean and filled with amenities. Managers were great and communication was fast and responsive to our requests. Overall a great stay!

The apartment is good , excellent location . The only bad thing is the bathroom has really bad odor ( like sewer ) . I call the property manager and seems like they sent someone but the odor still there

This property is right in the heart of the tourist area. That may not sound good to some people. But if you want to be where the action is. This is the place.

The property is located in a very convenient area of town, very near the popular Lutheran church (which you can see from the balcony of the apartment).
We stayed in the top floor apartment. The interior is a nicely revitalized historic setting. Two separate bedrooms (each with two beds (that can be pushed together). Two sofa-beds in the living room. Nice kitchen and seating area. There are stairs to climb up/down from the apartment (not an issue for us, but something to consider). There is a nice ice-cream shop right by the entrance, which has great gelato in waffle cones or on a fresh Belgian waffle.

This was the perfect place to stay! Family of 4 with lots of space. Perfectly located downtown, walkable to all the hot spots, dining, and grocery; and a quick cab ride to the main bus stop.

Great place with a fantastic location. It was loud in the evening though because of the location. But we thought it was great with teenagers to be able to walk out and be right in the heart of everything.

We loved our stay. The apartment was so cozy and well appointed. The location was absolutely perfect right in the middle of everything. The only thing that was a bit challenging was lugging all of our luggage up to the 4th floor.

Great Reykjavik location. The Appt is very spacious and fit a family of 4 well. We just stayed one night, so really we just slept there. This would be a great base for more nights. Parking in Reykjavik can be tough but we found a spot on the street. Would definitely stay here again.

We LOVED this place. The apartment was amazing--really spacious with great furniture. The deck was great to have and it could not have been in a better location. If you're looking for a place in downtown Reykjavik, we highly recommend Idunn Apartments. (We were in the 3rd floor unit, so we can't speak to the others.)

Great location, very clean, information for the apartment was useful. everything within walking distance.. would highly recommend renting a car to do the tours yourself.

The apartment was spacious, clean and cosy. We LOVE the interior and design in the apartment! It had most of the stuff we need on our 5 nights stay - although it would be appreciated to be provided more toiletries though rather than small sample size bottles as 5 nights with 4 girls that did not last us long. We were provided adequate clean towels, bed sheets were nice and clean too. Also, the lights were a bit too dark or maybe that was the theme/vibe of the apartment?
Location wise - REALLY GOOD, it is a walking distance to everything - 1 min walk to grocery shop, pharmacy, a lot of affordable food shops around the area, walking distance to most bus stops (for our day trips).
Check in was a little bit confusing because signs to the apartment were quite confusing. We also struggled going up to the apartment with our luggages since it was on the 4th floor with no lifts.
Overall though we really enjoyed our stay in the apartment.

Everything great! Hot tub wasn’t working when we got there in the evening but I made a phone call the next day and was fixed by the time we got back. So close to the church and really central, only about a 15-20 min walk from BSI station. Lovely apartment made the trip even better.

The room was clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Kitchen was great for making quick snacks and tea. Location is fantastic, but can lead to some late night noise by tourists.
