Our stay was great,the saff where amazing and so helpful

A great welcome from the staff. Breakfast was good and the view from the restaurant was amazing. Room was comfy, if a little compact. All in all it was great place to stay

Very happy with our stay. Lovely hotel. Helpful staff. Wonderful view over the beach and the sea. Will stay again when back in Scarborough.

Room was horrid and cramped, photo’s on hotels.com clearly only show the best rooms. Priced for the location.. but don’t expect comfort or any kind of luxury.

Loved every moment, staff were kind , caring and loveable my 2nd week stay since August looking forward to my 3rd week stay shortly meals delicious, sea views were amazing, bar is great, entertainment is fabulous comfortable bed great house keeping, I'll be back shortly and can't wait

Nice hotel for the money paid. Just an overnight stop to visit friends. Some areas could with 'freshening up' but overall OK.

Communal areas are dated and need repainted. Shower hose and fitments vere very rusty and dirty. Parking is a real problem in the area. Parked 1/4 ofa mile from the hotel and was lucky to find that space.

A great hotel with a brilliant location

Fabulous location with the most beautiful sea views! Staff were friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. Our room was quite small and a little run down and could have done with a good clean as there was cobwebs and dust along the skirting and carpet edges. Bed was comfortable and extra pillows were found in the wardrobe. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will most definitely be returning in the future

I wanted to like this hotel more than I did. The location was perfect, right on top of the hill looking out over Scarborough, it was beautiful, but the hotel it’s self was a bit of a let down. The staff were lovely, the breakfast was yummy but the rooms were a disappointment. The shower barely worked, I’m glad I didn’t have to wash my hair, I would have been there a week if I had! Little things like the lamp didn’t work, carpet needed a good clean and the bed only had one pillow. It’s a very noisy hotel, the door in the corridor bangs every time someone opens it, and obviously the seagulls like to be heard! Ha! Like I said, I wish I liked this hotel more because it has great potential, but the little details need looking at.

Very friendly welcome, beautiful view over the sea, clean, spacious room comfy beds and lovely breakfast. Our only gripe was we only had 5 nondescript tv channels and mentioned this to reception. It was checked by staff but the issue remained when we returned from our evening and didn't hear back regarding this. With only being there for 1 night it wasn't a massive issue but if we had being staying longer it would have been.

Great stay with lovely views. Comfy bed

Hotel sent a message that said they were lgbt accepting when to my cost I found they were not ! This hotel is heaven for OAP’s/Baby boomers, Gammons and coach parties and is extremely unfriendly towards LGBT+ and non binary people, pescatarians. Vegetarians and Vegans . 55 minutes to church in whilst they served lots of old people , these old people were creepy . This hotel also caters to coach parties which is never a good idea . People walking around in shorts with their belly buttons sticking out as their vests were too short, obnoxious brats and people covered with tattoos head to foot . Had a slimy manager apologise and say you will have no trouble here were lgbt accepting, I found this hotel so bad from my experience that I locked myself in the appalling room that had a semi working toilet . The night male receptionist before I left liked as though he had not shaved when I viewed the breakfast, which I had paid for before I left at 7-20 am Breakfast was sugary and not appropriate for a diabetic. This hotel is baby boomer and gammon heaven and best avoided . Perfect if your heterosexual, a bigot white and rich and elderly! Best avoided if you don’t like the entertainment for the elderly guests keeping you awake at 2 am in the morning and with drunken old people in the halls as the walls are paper thin Also avoid this hotel if your Lgbt+, non binary or are part of a minority .

Great view, room ok. Mostly parking off site… ask for a permit at reception. Enjoyed our stay and would book again.

Panoramic views were breathtaking. Property is in serious need of refurbishment but the staff were efficient, friendly and attentive. Car parking needs better organisation, but off-site parking reasonably priced.

Clean comfortable hotel overlooking both shores and near the castle. Steep walkways down to both shores.

Arrived before check in but used the bar until we could Room was spacious and bathroom was massive beds really comfy and fantastic sea views Tea and coffee kettle milk ect in room Towels provided Would recommend

Very small room and tired.Lovely staff and all in all the stay was just ok.

The room is rather small when compared with the photos. It is on the first floor and we can hear loud music from the lobby below until 11 pm. The best thing is that it has good sea view.

This is a lovely hotel with beautiful views of the North Bay. Good breakfast which was included but could be more vegetarian friendly. Five minute walk from Scarborough Cricket Club and close to the Castle.

Enjoyed a lovely night at the Norbreck hotel Scarborough whilst going to see a concert at the outdoor Ariana.It was veryclean and comfortable .The breakfast was amazing, and the view from the dining room was second to none.I would definitely stay there again and would definitely recommend it.

lovely hotel, wonderful staff and a brilliant view of sea and the castle, only two faults, shower could not be controlled so very hot, reported this and to be fair was offered another room but turned it down due to wonderful views. The bath will do!! the other thing the room was so hot, no heating on and windows open but never mind we had a brilliant stay.

Just parking was tricky

You do get a good view of the sea and a comfortable bed but room was a bit run down. Breakfast wasn't that great.

All the staff were friendly and very helpful. Our room which was spotless was on the top floor, we had a fantastic view over the bay. We did not dine here but will next time as I would return and recommend it to all.
