I was quite disappointed, I booked the day before and when I got to the location the owner had no knowledge of my reservation. She had someone from an English location called me the price and deposit they were giving me was totally different from what I got on booking. The price booking gave me for the total including the deposit when I got to the property the wanted that for the stay plus the deposit. I did told them that the price was different and they said booking gave discount they that not in agreement with. That’s was a big turn off so I decided not to stay with them. I believe in principles and good business ethnics and this left a bitter taste in my mouth. I would never recommend it to anyone if the price will change to whatever the agent what is to be when you get there.

Hidden Gem is true to it's name. My husband and I enjoyed the attention to details. The bedding was soft cotton and mattress was comfortable. All of the rooms were so spacious and decoration was so beautiful that we felt as if we were home. We loved the complimentary local snacks and offerings such as the scented soap and wipies pack. I had all I needed to make teas and breakfast. The living room doors led to a private patio from which we were able to watch hummingbirds and enjoy a cup of coffee in the plush lounge furniture. There's so much to enjoy in the surrounding area such as a White river raft ride, the rustic beach setting and excellent curry fish meal of Sugar Pot Beach Restaurant, Ocho Rios town area, Dunns River and so much more. Our stay was enchanting.

We wish we would have stayed longer than 2 nights. We needed more time to enjoy our comfortable stay at Hidden Gem.

We absolutely loved our stay here, if only we could have been here longer. The hostess Diana was incredibly lovely and eager to get us situated and comfortable in the space. The location was truly secluded and gave you a true sense of intimacy and peace. Our little apartment was perfect, the size, the balcony, the cleanliness, everything was truly set up in order for us to have the best time. We did not get to swim in the private pool but it was clean and available.

Everything was perfect, couldn't fault it. Diana our host was so lovely and helpful and we would definitely stay here again. Only 5-10 minutes from the main area by car. If you want somewhere to stay in ocho rios this is the place.
