Amazing villa in a beautiful location, large bedrooms, large kitchen and living room, with a hot tub in the back. Recommended for families.

Spacious home in a quiet township the proximity of the Golden Circle. Large common area and kitchen. Friendly host. EV driver rejoice--there is a standard outlet in the mudroom that is reachable from the driveway to top off your charge overnight.
The large bathroom window directly in the shower lends no privacy. It really needs some kind of frosted film so people walking by the front of the house can't see in. It does steam up with the shower running at least. The washer/dryer is a 2-in-1 combo machine and does poor job of drying clothes while taking forever (multiple hours) to do so. The only services within 20 minutes are a couple of restaurants and a small gas station, so have anything you might need before staying here.

The property is very elegant - building, furniture and art tastefully curated in modernist spirit. It was very atmospheric during the two rainy days we stayed there, with the steam rising from the hot spring (we didn't go to inspect it closer). Kitchen was well equipped, and also facilities for washing and drying clothes.
Just a little bit of advance information would have been useful (this was resolved quickly, so it's not really a criticism).

this property is located just off main road, east to access, but it feels like in the woods. There is a children playground just opposite road with zip wires, the kids had so much fun there. The atmosphere is great, suits the name “enchanting”. the decoration of the living room is really nice, we especially like the art books with photos and pictures about Iceland, grandparents and children like to read them.
We couldn’t figure out how to lock the back garden door properly at first as there was no signs or instructions for how, so texted owner via bookings message, she replied instantly with instructions and she also asked a helper at the farm to come around and showed us. the service was great. p.s. if there is a microwave could be better.

Had such a perfect stay, such a lovely house with everything we needed for self catering our family of 6. Place has so much character, loved all the great artwork throughout, beds were all super comfortable, plenty of space for 4 kids to enjoy.
Host was very accommodating and helpful. Location was quiet and perfectly central to get to all the top locations to visit.
I wouldn't hesitate to return.

Comfortable and spacious house nicely furnished and decorated with original artworks. The hot tub in the garden was quite enjoyable even in winter.
One bathroom for 4 double bedrooms. Was fine for us but we were only 5.
