It was wonderful, clean, comfortable and quiet. It was a great place to be on the coast. Owner was fabulous, easy to talk to and answered all questions.

This is the first home rental I’ve been to in YEARS with great beds. We all slept so well! The kitchen was pretty well stocked and we cooked the entire time. There was plenty to do between the hot tub, movies, and game room. Plus, the location was amazing with a super short walk to Pelican Brewery, a marketplace, coffee shop, and the main beach.

Everything you need for a fabulous time at the beach!

The beds were comfortable. The kitchen utensils, pots and pans, glasses , silverware etc., was great. The fire pit off of the deck provided a gathering point every evening. Location was great.

We had a wonderful time together exploring the dunes, building castles in the sand and watching the dory boats come ashore to be picked up by trucks and trailers. When they occasionally got stuck in the deep sand, it was even more fun to watch!

The beds here are quiet literally some of the most comfortable beds we have slept on. My sister is pregnant and is still complaining about how she isn’t sleeping as well as she was when we stayed here. These next few things are not negatives, it’s just hard to tell from the pictures/would have been nice to know: (1) the furniture in the living room is bulky so can be tight when there are 8 people. The nice thing is the game room in the garage is near, AND the furniture isn’t cheap so it’s very comfy. (2) the table is in sort of a cornered off place that it was hard for all of us to use. Well more than 5 at a time. (3) it was hard for some to get in and out of the hot tub. The hot tub is really tall and the wooden step is short. (4) It would have been nice to know there were a few things that were broken/damaged. I messaged the host to inform as I didn’t want to them to think we did it, and they informed me they knew about most. Overall would 100% stay here again. It was an amazing experience, easy check in, worth the price and had everything we needed. It was a beautiful relaxed neighborhood and we don’t mind walking to the small walk to the beach, it was close enough to walk to dinner if we wanted. The house was extremely clean and big enough for the 8 of us and overall We loved it and will save it as a #1 choice to book again.

Great location and all the amenities!

Great experience. Loved the fire pit and the gaming “cave” in the garage. We will definitely be back!

First off, we really enjoyed our time in Pacific City. We visited with 4 adults, kids (5-9 years old) and our small dog. The house suited our family well but would have been a bit disappointing had it been just a group of adults. The highlights of the house are the proximity to the beach, the backyard facing the forest (great for kids and dogs) and the game room in the garage for kids. The kids had a great time. The downsides were the overall maintenance and cleanliness of the house. Many of the issues could be explained by the challenges of constant moisture and sand which would be difficult to stay on top of. But it seems like they could do more to make sure the house is good shape which would make their guests more comfortable. Then there were things that 100% should be fixed before a guest arrives. The kitchen faucet is visibly broken and beyond repair. It sprays all over since the push bottom for spray/stream is broken off and stuck between the two settings. It should’ve been fixed before we arrived. This compounded the problem of the dishwasher not working since we had to wash by hand all week. We tried a dozen or more times to get the dishwasher to work and it would run for a minute then abruptly stop. It was quite annoying. The sliding patio door is practically jammed and requires tremendous force to open it wide enough to go through. On top of that the screen door will not stay in the tracks. It was a constant issue having to open/close/fix the door so the kids could go in and out to the backyard. All of these issues could quickly be addressed with a bit of maintenance and might not be an issue going forward if prioritized. We still had a great time as we spent most of our time outside but if we were stuck inside during a stormy weekend these somewhat minor issues would’ve been quite frustrating. Pacific city is great. The house is family friendly and you’ll love your time. Just be aware of the maintenance issues before you book.

The house was beautiful and well appointed. My kids loved the garage turned play room with mini basketball hoops and foos ball table. All the beds are weirdly high off the ground - we’re all tall people but still felt like we had to jump to get in the bed LOL the back yard is beautiful as well but not particularly private. The houses are close together and there’s a trail that goes behind each house, so people and pets were walking this trail at all hours. Our dog would go crazy and it was a little jarring to be watching tv and then people are walking right outside. All in all, this was a great house - light and airy and modern. We’ll definitely keep it in mind if we’re in the area again 😊

Had a wonderful time and the house was great.

The house was spacious , clean and very nice . In a quiet, nice neighborhood. We loved backing up to the woods where our dogs could run. The hot tub and fire pit were awesome . We struggled cooking with the stove top and the kitchen could use some new pans . Easy walk to the beach. Overall really loved the time we stayed here .

For the most part we enjoyed our family stay in Pacific City. House is in a great location. Plenty of room. Kitchen well stocked. Beds weren't as comfortable as we would have liked and the hot tub wasn't stellar but overall we had a great time.

We rented the house for an early March weekend in Pacific City. Lucked out on the weather and the house. It was our family of 4 and two dogs, plus another family of three. The house fit us perfectly and was stocked with everything we needed. The garage is set up as a cool game room where the teenagers disappeared were happy to disappear to. The area behind the house was perfect for the dogs. Great location, and great experience. Would definitely rent again.

Great space for family time with grandparents, parents and grandkids. Open area on main level allows for being with family while preparing meals. Good water pressure for showering. Only negative was vent on stovetop didn't work.

Wonderful house with plenty of space to spread out, clean and private, well stocked kitchen. Young adults especially enjoyed the game room and amenities.

The home is super clean and comfortable, no complaints and it is as described. We were not able to find the path to beach access, also the land in the backyard includes a trail that is heavily used by kids, people walking dogs etc. This is okay, but definitely makes the space with the hot tub not feel very private. It is lovely though. This seems like a great house for a family with kids. I stayed with my boyfriend and another couple. The two largest rooms upstairs are right next to each other. Seems like a good fit for a couple with their kids. Might be sort of tight for multiple families etc.

The property was wonderful and super fun! The couches and beds were super comfy. The space in the garage is great with a foosball table and pop a shot basket with a tv and other board games. The location of the property is great! Took us about 10 minutes to walk to the beach and pelican brewing. Would definitely recommend this a house to anyone!

House is very clean and comfortable with outstanding locations close to town. Like many said, other than the small dining room table its an excellent place.

We had a great time.

We had 4 couples and it was great to have 4 bedrooms. What was even better, the rooms all had a queen or King size bed. No one had to sleep in a bunk room.
