Simona the host was amazing. Great communication before our arrival and very kind in showing us the bnb and all opportunities that Matera offers, good tips for restaurants and attractions. The location is great and very accessible, just few steps into the Sasso Barisano with a lovely terrace.

The furniture of the room and the common areas need a refresh, beds are not as comfortable as the price you pay for. Breakfast is not served in the bnb (which is a shame because the terrace would be the best spot in town for that) and they send you to the pizzeria where they provide a very poor meal.

The palce itself is very beautiful and cool. Very liveable. The terrace is wonderful and large, with a truly breathtaking view. The position of the room is also perfect within Matera, we couldn't have hoped of anything better. The welcoming from Simona was very much appreciated, gave us a nice initial tour, and provided us with many precious tips for our stay. The breakfast too was good, and offered in a wonderful high terrace in the main square by very sweet people.

Donna Lina is situated in the core of a quaint town. It has the Matera charecteristics. It is very clean and Simona, a staff member gave us a warm welcome and was very helpful.
