My room was non-smoking, but smelled strongly of smoke. A/C came from a window unit that started beeping at 2 AM and wouldn't stop. So I shut it off. Staff were friendly and the night was otherwise quiet.

Great for the price. But requested 10am wake-up call & woke up to knocking on door at 11:15am.

Front desk guy was friendly, quick check-in. The room was comfortable enough, but I'd recommend bringing Clorox wipes for everything you're going to touch. The shower head was disgusting and had bacteria on it. Carpet in the hallways and room were stained and are beyond cleaning; need to be replaced. The picture is of the microwave...

Carpets were not very clean but I’ve seen a lot worse. Overall it was fine. The shower water was a little weak but it was hot. The sink faucet was high enough that I could stick my head under it. Beds were comfortable and sheets appeared fresh and clean. The reservation info was that checkin was between 2 pm and midnight. But at 8:12 pm while I was in a theater, they called me saying that check in was at 2 pm and I didn’t show up, so did I still want the room or not? Kind of off-putting. I didn’t see the voicemail until I got out of the show and was worried they were gonna sell the room out from under me. I had a reservation that was non-refundable and they had my cc info. They weren’t gonna lose money. Hotel was in a very convenient location for my needs though, so I’d probably stay again if suitable.

Depends on your standards. For the area this is a cheap place with clean towels and sheets. Don’t expect anything more. Like many others said the carpets in the room are pretty nasty / outdated. Additionally there’s no security here. When we checked out there was a homeless man sleeping IN the lobby. No one at the front desk. If that’s going to bother you I wouldn’t stay here but overall we didn’t have any issues but I wouldn’t stay with kids here. Staff was nice.

The toilet was broken as was the remote for the tv.

I love the location of the property, and I stay there wherever I am working in DC area because it is close to everything. During every stay there is always an issue with the cable for the television, but on every occasion the front desk person will come assist. On my most recent occasion I arrived to check in at 4:50pm there was no one at the front desk, I waited 27 mins until the individual returned. I check in and went to my room, I immediately turned on the television and the cable wld not connect. I walk bank out and told the mad at the desk. To my absolute shock he said “ I can not help you it is after 3pm and the people that wld handle that have gone for the day.” I explained that I have checked I later prior and there had never been an issue prior. He said “. If you want better service stay somewhere else this a motel not a hotel.” I was angry and shocked so I simply when back to room and cooled off and then I check out. I do expect the red carpet to be rolled out but I do expect basic service, I chose this hotel/motel because of location and the ease, and have stay there more than 5 times . I will think twice before I use them again.
