The soap rack in the shower had been previously broken off, and siliconed in place. However, there was black mold growing around the silicon area. The A/C unit did not cool down to the temperature required. The pull out couch had a thin mattress, making it squeak every time the sleeper moved. The King size bed was placed too close to the "pony wall" making it difficult to get in from that side of the bed. The phone was old and didn't work. Front desk said they would replace it, but that did not happen. The hot breakfast every morning was good and filling. However, the gravy, was a bit watered down. Overall, the building was mostly clean, but very outdated. Even the furniture everywhere was from the 70's.

We come here multiple times a year and this was one of the worst motels we have stayed in. There was a horrible smell, it was in need a major updates, the shower head shot water out the side, no lock additional on the door, tv didn’t work (more later) and NO CLOSET to hang clothes. They did fix the tv after we complained, They have tons a of little fees. The only positive I can say is the bed was comfy and breakfast was ok.

First we requested a non smoking room and the room we got was definitely smoked in recently. We were moved to a different room that also smelled of cigarettes, stains on all the carpet and sofa, walls had large gouges and the nightstand looked like a dog had chewed on it. Would never recommend anyone with a sense of smell stay there. Only good thing was the front desk girl was super nice and tried to be as accommodating as possible.

We had a good stay overall. Our only concern was that the night we checked in there was no warm water in the shower, but the next morning it was better - not great, but a little warm. So we didn't say anything. But then the next night when we got in around 11pm the shower was cold again, and the next morning it was cold and as we were checking out we mentioned it to them. Again, other than cold showers we were happy with our stay.

As expected with the affordability of this room, the hotel was a little outdated. It met every need we had plus the convenience of being located next door to a hospital.

For the price, this is a decent hotel. I was in town for Spring Sing at Harding and only needed one night. I have stayed at this hotel in the past. Located off the main street through town.

We have stayed here several times. And they seem to always be in the midst of a renovation, but nothing ever changes. There are zero outlets, one lamp for the entire room, no place to hang up clothing, and no hairdryer in the bathroom.

The only thing that needs to be addressed is the breakfast. The eggs were cold and nothing was stocked when we made it down to eat. We had to wait for eggs and sausage. The attendant never brought any more gravy while we were in there. We had to microwave the eggs to eat them enough to eat. There was no coffee made and had to wait for it to be done. Other than that, the stay was pleasant.

Great price, clean, friendly staff, good breakfast. They need more lighting in the room. The toilets are very low to the ground- hard for seniors and handicaps. Worth the price though.

The antiquated heater in the room kept me up all night. I turned it off to get some sleep, then woke up freezing 3 hrs later and had to turn it back on. Repeat til dawn. Inadequate parking for trailer. Old beds in the hallways, unpainted baseboards. Huge chunk out of the bathroom counter that had been caulked back together (poorly). Only one light in the entire room, at the front door. I'm cheap and just needed a place to crash, but it wasn't THAT cheap.

Dislike: Furniture broken, wait for batteries die in door locks before replacing them, breakfast is terrible, water and coffee cups in the room are old, beds are uncomfortable. It is obvious the owner does not fix or maintain anything beyond the bare minimum.

Great location. We were disappointed that the indoor/outdoor pool was not open. Our outside door did not work with our keycard and were told it was probably the battery but no offer to come fix it. Our non smoking room smelled like smoke and there was no lamps or much lightening. There were no pillows or blanket for the hideabed. We were able to get some brought up after being told that there were no more pillows. It seems like they were renovating the hotel.

It was ok, but the furniture was old, 2 drawers were missing, a bench was stained. The bed was creaky. There weren't plugs near the nightstands. Everything was clean though.

There were no hanging bars in closet area. Couch cushions had stains. Bathroom door didn’t close all the way and there was hole in the wall where I guess handle would hit it. Hole in the wall by toilet paper holder. Killed spider on vanity and the iron leaked out water all over the shirt I was ironing. There was no free WiFi in the room. No extra blanket for the sofa pullout bed.

Should be very nice once renovations are complete. They did a very good job keeping it clean and looking good during remodeling. A few minor inconveniences but still deserves an overall good rating.

Average hotel, lobby being remodeled so it was torn up but breakfast area still useable. Room is a typical room with nothing special. Usual micro, fridge, the bed was really firm.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The property is being remodeled so it was a bit undecorated, etc. But they said it should be done in October. The property itself is nice and generally clean. The bed was pretty decent and we took advantage of the discout at RibCrib next door and enjoyed a good meal there.

It was a good value. It was clean enough to feel okay about the stay. But the pool was down for maintenance. Needed more light and power receptacles. I wasn't expecting perfection for the price. But overall I was happy with it.
