This hotel was an amazing option for 2 nights pre our cruise! First of all, Brickell is such an urban modern and cool location. There are many restaurants and shops on the same street and the metro over station is 1 minute walk away. The pool was extremely useful on the hot mornings and had great views and comfy loungers.
When we entered our room our blackout blind happened to be jammed and wouldn’t move on the IPAD when we phoned the front desk they offered to move us straight away with no hesitation and our new room was perfect. The room was very clean and all controlled by iPad! The bed was HUGE and very comfortable. Really reccomend this hotel for the value and for a short stay. And the best part, NO HIDDEN FEES. No fee on card is taken at check in

Definitely and older style hotel. It was very clean and the staff were excellent. The location is perfect, a lot of shopping and dining within walking distance and the cruise port was only about a 10 minute taxi ride away. The elevators are small, as is to be expected with older properties. Will stay here again.

The only thing we desired was drinking water availability in the lobby (we used the drinking fountain in the gym to fill containers). Otherwise, our stay was lovely.

A lovely older hotel right in the heart of Las Olas. Lots of restaurants, bars and shops close by.
Food in The Golden Lyon great and well priced. Breakfast in the hotel restaurant OK and a little pricey but not too bad.
My room was in the older part of the hotel and smelled damp and musty. Bathroom was tiny. People I spoke to who were in The Tower said their room was very good.
I've stayed overnight in Ft. Lauderdale many times when starting a cruise the next day and this is the first hotel I would go to again and maybe stay longer next time.

We were staying one night prior to our cruise. Wow - what a GREAT location - walkable to all of the restaurants and shopping and VERY reasonablly priced. Hotel recently renovated - minus a bit in the bathrooms but all said - 5 stars for price and location! Will definitely stay again!

We loved the location but our room had blacked out windows with absolutely no view. Not what was advertised.
Our room had two large cutout holes in the wall/headboard right over your head on either side. Yuck!!!!! We could see inside the wall and then wonder what might crawl out. Yikes! Then the shirts were so incredibly scratchy it was hard to sleep plus the air conditioner never cooled even on the lowest setting. Plus the tv remote stopped working.

The hotel was in a wonderful location! Wonderful. But it was extremely old. The elevator was scary. We got a false Fire alarm at 4:30am in the morning. With no direction. No lights in the room. Only motion lights which is a pain when u need to do something and u can’t unless you keep moving toward the lights. We had to have maintenance come in and remove the motion lights.

Always a pleasure staying at The Riverside Hotel. We requested a balcony and we got a very Cool one one the northwest corner on the 10th floor. We love drinking our morning coffee watching are the people and boats going on their way to wherever. We had one minor difficulty which was taken care of very quickly - we couldn't lower one of the window blinds! We also were fortunate enough to see the Los Olas Art Festival Part one and two this year. We are making plans to visit next year.

Overall the hotel was awesome however our mattress was awful springs poking us in the back, legs, all over. Our friend who we booked with us her room had a much thicker mattress and she said it was great. Luck of the draw I guess

It was an excellent place to stay before our cruise. The Boathouse had an outstanding lunch on the waters edge. The happy hour was quite popular. Beautiful classic old hotel. It is a pleasure to experience this building.

Riverside Hotel was a great stay for my work trip to Fort Lauderdale. I was able to walk to dinner and enjoyed the Riverwalk. Great location and the hotel will be even nicer when the construction is finalized.

We stayed in the Micro suites which we found out are on the older side of the building where construction is being done. Room felt like a cell. Window had a glazed film on it so no window view . Room smelled old and musty. We tried to upgrade but hotel was booked. Not a good experience probably will not book there again .
