Easy walk to Des Moines Marina for a morning stroll.

I really wanted to give this place a 5-star rating, but the trip was ruined on the last evening. I'll start with the good. Greeted by Kasa (super nice guy) and we were early for check-in but he allowed us to check in anyways. Hotel was very clean as was the room and also spacious. Great location for both town and seaside activities. It all went off the rail on the last night. We had just gotten back from a wedding and I went to sleep. My wife went out to smoke around 12:30 and when she tried to get back in, her keycard failed. She didn't have a phone, so she tried yelling to me but we were on the 2nd floor. Then she used the provided phone on the front of the hotel. She called twice and no one answered. She then called 911 twice and they called the hotel and eventually someone let her in. The night staff was upset that she called 911, but she was frightened and cold and alone in a strange town and didn't know what else to do. She didn't get back into the room until 1:51 AM. The next morning during check out, our nice guy Kasa was back and I told him about it and he knew nothing about it. He was very apologetic and offered to reimburse us for our stay. We never got reimbursed.

The area seems safe. The room was outdated, smelled of room freshener, but was clean. Beds were comfortable. Coffee was terrible and the breakfast was very minimal. Being able to walk to the marina and pier was fantastic.

Not what we expected at all. We expected a cute slightly boutique type of hotel. Beds were uncomfortable, room smelled musty. Not worth what we paid.

Nice place, close to water. Breakfast is lame, waffles or bagels, coffee and no other drinks. No elevator.

Clear we got what we paid for, it was simple clean. The bathroom towels were very small and it was very short staffed.

Exceptionally clean and very comfortable bed. Otherwise very much a budget hotel, nothing luxurious. Our only complaint was the overly scented cleaning materials they used. We had to air out the room. Good news, the windows open.

Breakfast was not as advertised. Muffins and packaged sweet rolls. Or a waffle. Room was comfortable enough but no more. Won’t be back.

The hotel was quiet and quaint. Motel vibes with a hotel feel. The accomodations were dated but clean and comfy. There was a tv in my suite but no cable or channels. That being said, shower was high power and hot, the bed was king sized and comfy, and th bstay was quiet. Worth the stay for a plac to sleep. Safe and snug

There was no one to check us in at counter when we arrived. (7:00 PM). When we used the courtesy phone next to counter it rang another phone behind the counter. Waited about 5 minutes for someone to show up. Also the entrance doors did not have a key card to enter after hours (9:00 PM), you had to call someone on staff to gain entrance. The room was just ok, clean, but the towels looked and felt like they were 20 years old. And the hand soap that was provided was so small you could barely hold it. Also, be aware that there is no elevator. This hotel felt like it was doing the least possible for the convenience of the customer.

Spacious room and reasonable price, but not comfortable bed.

The breakfast was just waffles, fruit, and yogurt.

The stay was OK, we needed it one night before our flight. I found some hair under my bed cover , so obviously the sheets were not changed before we arrived. Staff were nice even when checked in pretty late.

It's very clean. Staff is nice. It's a cute cozy place to stay.

The rooms are a bit dated but clean and comfortable. We liked that it was close to the sound and had several dining options within walking distance.

The hotel was ok beds just ok noise carried through doors you could hear everything and the manager kept yelling at the staff very rudely and most times it was hard to find someone at the front desk

Next to the ocean, and accessible to restaurants.

We didn’t really stay here long, got in late, had a super early flight the next morning. It was clean and quiet with lots of hot water and water pressure in the shower. The bed was comfy, we weren’t around late enough to have breakfast. Good place to stay for the proximity to the SeaTac airport.

The place was old, but well kept. The King bed was great. The location was excellent for us and we were able to walk to the marina to see sunset and restaurants as well. Parking was easy and super close to Seattle Airport...would recommend to all

No real breakfast options. Basic clean and good for an overnight stay. Close to SeaTac and an easy drive. So great location. Wallys near by to eat is wonderful!!

It had an odor I have smelled in other older hoteld. Something they use. The shower floor had some body hairs in it.

The room had a lot of ants and it was on the second floor. Everything else was acceptable.

This was a lovely property within walking distance of both the water and several restaurants. The rooms were clean and pricing reasonable. The front desk took care of check in promptly and explained their policies clearly. Close to the airport too!
