Hi the room was a nice room. Clean and up to date. It was the noise over my head CONSTANTLY as if someone was rearranging the furniture over me. Other than that it was a good stay.

We had a great stay.. the hotel is clean and the staff was great and prompt.. we had an ocean front room with a beautiful view.. the restaurant was really good the service was great really friendly.. we definitely will stay here again!!

Advertised was two queens but at best two full size. Husband is 6 ft 2 in and bed had his feet over the edge and the shower he looked over the rod and the shower head he had to duck and hit his head. The noise factor was the worse, you could hear the everything from the adjacent rooms . It sounded like a pack of elephants were above us all night - we believe they had pets and they kept us up as the floors are like a wood base with no padding, need some aquistical treatments.

Location on the ocean is fabulous. Queen beds with new mattresses would have resulted in a much higher score.

Property was very clean. Had a short two night trip and hotel was a great location and great price. Would stay again!

Overall a nice stay. The rooms were updated and clean. It’s in a nice quiet area of the boardwalk. Restaurant and bar could be cleaner

Super clean!! Our hotel was a beach front room, amazing view of the ocean and the boardwalk. The room was very clean and I appreciated the beach-vibes that the room gave, with the aesthetically pleasing beachy colors in the room (linens and paint on the walls). Very cozy, bright and comfortable. The staff at this hotel were also super nice. 10/10

The general manager and girl checking us in was amazing. They were very kind and helpful. There were places to dine and mini golf close by. It is on the boardwalk but at the end so you have to walk a lot to get closer to the action. It has a restaurant and bar area. We enjoyed the pool. The parking there is very tight hopefully you have a small car. The room we had was ok. It looked and felt a little run down but it was oceanfront and we enjoyed getting up each morning to a beautiful sunrise.

Good: Clean unit, friendly staff Bad: 1600 check in time (late) with a 1100 checkout (early) = $30/hr for a one night stay which is a questionable value proposition

The hotel is obviously an older property that has been nicely refurbished, and is very clean. Beds are comfortable. Good location, within walking distance to good restaurants. Try BLU for the genuine Maryland blue crab eating experience!

The staff was tremendous! Checked in within 5 minutes, and they had a list of pet-friendly list of restaurants and a doggie biscuit gift bag for us!

This hotel is located in a great location and the ocean front room provided awesome views. My family spent a lot of time on the balcony enjoying the view. Another positive was the friendly staff who frequently checked in with us to see how our stay was going. The room and facility was clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom is small and the rooms are more comfortable for 4 people instead of 6. We did experience a problem with ants; however, the hotel staff were responsive to address the issue and quickly resolved the problem and provided us with meal gift certificates for our trouble. The most disappointing part of our stay was the WiFi service did not work inside the room. The signal was extremely weak and would connect and immediately drop out. This caused the need to go to the local Starbucks to conduct work instead of working from the room with the view that we had planned. I travel frequently and spend a lot of time in hotels and haven’t experienced such issues with WiFi that I did at this hotel. This alone will prevent me from choosing this location again which is unfortunate.

Room was not what we thought it would be. It surely was not worth almost $500 a night. Very difficult for individuals with walkers, wheelchairs, etc to maneuver around patio area due to the pavers that were used. Doorways were very tight and an individual in a wheelchair could not access the room without getting out of the chair.

We loved our stay here, the area is close to everything we needed to be.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Howard Johnson's in Ocean City, Maryland, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish! The location is perfect, just steps away from the beautiful beach and boardwalk. The staff was exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Our room was spotless and well-maintained, with all the amenities we could need. The beds were incredibly comfortable, providing a restful night's sleep after a day of fun in the sun. The hotel offers excellent facilities, including a refreshing pool area and convenient parking. We felt safe and well-cared for throughout our entire stay. Special shoutout to the front desk staff, who were always available to provide great local recommendations and assistance. Overall, Howard Johnson's in Ocean City is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable beach getaway. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area! Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

Hotel including rooms and pool were clean and nice. I will stay at this hotel when I come back only complaint would be you can here people stomping above you or yelling in the hallways but that’s not anything hotel can help.

Great location! room was amazing with a stunning view of the beach, easy access to the beach! The floors were a bit sandy but that’s expected staying on the beach

The team was extremely helpful. They find solutions to any issue you might have immediately. Key not working, no problem, fixed. Toilet stopped up, no problem, fixed. They do everything to make your stay pleasant. They even give courtesy call to make sure everything is fine with your stay. The property was clean, and very family friendly. If I was to nitpick, I would say the rooms can be slightly bigger. That nitpick is very minor. Overall, great property, and give the whole team raises.

I didn't like the bathroom, no room for anything on counter tops. Too small.
