Room had a funny smell to it. The walls and door are thin. I could not get a decent night of sleep cause I could hear every conversation as people walked by. With it being near Disneyland families would very up early to go to the park everyday and I was woken up every day from all the noise.

This hotel is in great location to the Disney parks as well as food establishments just up the road at new plaza. Beds comfy and free parking is massive bonus. Would recommend for families as you spend the whole day at the parks and then come back and crash. Kids used the pool no issues

The room was the perfect size. It could have been a little cleaner, noticed hair on the bathroom floor upon arrival. The walls are very thin and could hear kids running through the hallway and jumping upstairs. The parking lot is very small however, we were given access to a parking garage and that made it manageable. Also, the room was cold and it was great since it was so hot outside. Great location, everything was within walking distance so didn’t have to pay for parking at the parks. Overall very happy with our stay and will definitely book again.

You get what you pay for! It was one of the cheaper options around Disney! Only a $10 uber to the front gate! If you’re in it to simply have a place to lay your head after a long day of hiking Disney - it’s alright…it’s not nice, it’s dated, but it’s only .8 miles from the front gate…

The room smelled odd. The beds were uncomfortable. It looked run down and needs updating. We checked out first thing in the morning and went somewhere else. My daughter was upset and anxious about the quality of the room

Amazing and close enough to walk to Disneyland

Ideal location to Downtown Disney and the parks. Hotel was clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Definitely will plan to stay again on next trip.

The family room was large and comfortable enough for 7 of us. The service was friendly and efficient. The furniture and decor is older but clean. It looked exactly like the pictures. Nothing different or misleading. It is about a 5-8 minute walk from Disney - excellent and safe. No complaints!

Property was good value, property is a little outdated but for the distance to the park, there is also a CVS and Walgreens right next door..

Can’t complain about anything as we spent one night for Disney visit. The room suite accommodated my family well and comfortably. Service at the front desk at check in and check out time was great especially the young girl (I took her name but now forgot). She gave us excellent service with advice on how to best walk to Disney and gave us a voucher to keep our car parked in the garage till we finished at the park so we saved money. Thank you!

This was a convenient location to Disney. The info on hotels.com stated it came with free breakfast, but when we got to check in, they said they haven’t had that for years.

Good location but the place stinks like urine

Requested for my two rooms to be a "connecting" or "lock-off" since I was bringing disabled adults to their facility. These adults required supervision by staff. I requested 2 weeks in advance, hoping for accomodations. When we arrived, they just put us in side by side rooms, which then required staff to continuously go next door to check on our guys.

The Staff was friendly and allowed us to check in early so that we could start our Disney trip. When we got into our room we noticed old pieces of gum on the wall and trash tucked away in corners. The overall property was nice and everything was easy to access, just minor issues with cleanliness in the room my family stayed in. The walk to Disney was easy and a strait shot.

The stay was alright but the carpet on the rooms stink like feet and they really need some remodeling

This was a very bad experience for myself and my family. We booked this hotel because the pictures of the rooms looked nice and it was close to Disney. The room we got was horrible when we first walked in the room smelled of urine. We asked to get another room. The new room that was given to us had smell of wet clothes. The room was out dated and did not look like the pictures on the site. The beds were old and very uncomfortable. The pillows were very flat, an the couch had stains. The outside of the property was about the only thing that looked nice. We stood 1 night and checked out the next day in the morning and booked elsewhere. The lady at the front desk did not bother to ask why we were checking out a day early and didn’t seem to care. I later found out the receptionist never checked us out when I got an additional charge on my credit card for another days holding fee. I had to call the hotel to get it released. Over all I would not recommend this hotel and we won’t be going back there.

Check in and check out were fast and friendly. Room was clean and was stocked. Pool was nice. Parking also was good.

It was comfortable

I felt that with the property being so close to Disneyland, you would think that it’s alittle more updated. It also had a very old run down feel and look to it. The one receptionist wasn’t friendly at all and told me I couldn’t check in my second room. I booked it at the same time for me and my brother’s family and it’s under my credit card but I couldn’t check them in, so weird! I’ve never heard of that before so we had to wait for my brother to get there to check in the second room that’s under my credit card.

Looks nice from the outside, but the room smelled bad. The carpet was dirty. Furniture was rundown restroom sink and shower was plugged and I cannot help but to feel something crawling on me all night. I never stay here again.

It’s cozy and spacious. The staff was robotic and on autopilot. Sounded like he’s been doing this for a very long time and had the entire script memorized that he forgot to be human. It’s fascinating to watch. Enjoyed that experience. The shower knob also broke and maintenance came to fix it in the middle of the night. At least it was fixed.

Our reservation was lost, housekeeping only came once during our visit. Customer service desk was very helpful. Room service was excellent.

Great for families for Disneyland

The hotel is not the nicest but it was clean and very close to Disneyland you can walk or take the buss. The staff was amazing and made a birthday surprise for my daughter.

This hotel needs a SERIOUS update. It is run down and shabby looking and the carpet looked dirty. There was also the faint smell of sewer in the hallway. The furniture was the SAME as when I stayed there over 10 years ago. The parking is another issue because there isn’t enough of spaces. The only positive here is their wonderful and friendly staff. They really do their best to make you feel welcome.

We just stayed for two nights, and already booked our future stay there. Really appreciated the overall accessibility of the facilities. Even though we did not need it for ourselves, it was nice to see how everything was laid out for those who do. The area is obviously near Disney and therefore very busy, but outside of the fireworks, it was still very quiet. Stafd was lovely, parking was easy. Looking forward to staying again.

Check-in was great, and all staff members should be commended on their professionalism, speed, and courtesy. It was great! The only issue I had was that there wasn't soap in the dispenser, but the front desk supplied bars in lieu. It was approximately 15 minutes' walk from the front door to Disney admission. I go to the park every year or two, and I would gladly use Portofino again.
