Lovely hotel nice room great bathroom but the shower needed attention which I mentioned on leaving should have been noticed though beforehand

Receptionist very welcoming and excellent customer service. I have to leave early and she has organised some breakfast for me at 6.45. Staff like this make hotels memorable

Excellent stay and we will be back here without a doubt! The rooms were spotless clean and modern and even had A/C. The decor was perfect! The staff are really welcoming and the hotel is in a nice and quiet area. The food is outstanding!!! Absolutely delicious! We did not feel the need to go and eat anywhere else throughout our stay! Big thank you to Olga in reception and Ryan in the restaurant! They make this hotel outstanding through their hard work! Highly highly recommanded to anyone looking to stay here! We will definitely be back very soon!

Really friendly staff receptionist was incredibly lovely.the room was a little tired could do with some TLC there was a musty smell which was very off putting we opened the window over night and that did help

The Best Western George Hotel in Norwich is a fabulous place to stay with 4 dog-friendly rooms which we booked one for our stay. All staff are welcoming and friendly and couldn't be more helpful. Food was fantastic quality. Beds were comfortable and although air con was welcome in the summer, we turned it off as the roon was quite cold when we checked in.

Excellent hotel would definitely stay again

My change of work means i am in Norwich less these days, which is a shame as that means i stay here less! I do like this smaller, comfy and nicely tucked away hotel. Always a cheeful reception, nice bar, good comfy rooms. Even a decent vegan breakfast. Hate leaving!

A stunning property. Modern but classic. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location. Close to the city for walking or taking a drive to the coast. Bathroom was lovely but for someone of increasing vintage years on a practical note. I found the shower base slippery. Also no shelving to put my toiletries increasing the slip factor by having to bend down.

My one night stay at the George Hotel was a 100% positive experience, I was going to a Take That concert at Carrow Rood Football Stadium I decided to travel by train and stay overnight I could not have chosen a better Hotel. I felt sure I had picked a good hotel after my research before booking. However upon arrival I was amazed at how very nice the Hotel was. Helen the receptionist on duty when I arrived was so pleasant,efficient and knowledgeable regarding my questions re the Venue I was going to. When I went to my room I found it to be spacious for a single room with all of the usual amenities found in a good Hotel room. Both the room plus the ensuite were immaculately clean, spotless. The bed was the same, immaculate with pure white bed linen, two good quality pillows and what felt like when I slept in it, a very comfortable memory foam mattress. Breakfast was included in my stay,there was a very good selection of cold serve yourself buffet plus an extensive separate hot freshly cooked to order menu, which I much preferred to the usual hot buffet style breakfasts on offer these days. The service at breakfast was excellent and my food was hot,fresh and delicious. After breakfast I went to reception to ask if it was possible for them to order a taxi to the train station Olga was on duty this time,she happily obliged, she even came out to the taxi with me and bade me goodbye. I did convey to Olga my thanks & how happy I was with my stay. I honestly cannot fault this hotel

Little gem excellent staff great room very clean excellent food we were looking for a 1 night stay for a Norwich take that gig most other Hotels were fully book up but we found this little gem just off Newmarket Rd on arrival was a warm welcome we were given a outside cottage room 204 when we opened the door we both said very nice sleep was good and the breakfast was top draw as well perfect thanks we will come back

Good location for getting into Norwich - walkable in 20 minutes. Car park up to capacity. Room small but comfy. Soundprofing not brilliant. Breakfast good though.

Enjoyed the hotel. A good mix of an old building with modern facilities.

Staff were lovely and very friendly. Bar area nice and inviting. However, rooms very tired and in need of much need decorating. Very noisy in room, even when people were quietly walking past to their own rooms. Noise of water being used in adjacent rooms was rather loud and the squeaking of the floor above when ever anyone in the room upstairs walked around. Great hotel, but just needs more attention to repairs etc.

Excellent from check-in to check-out. Complimentary upgrade to double deluxe (Bed was superking & super comfy) Room facilities and room cleanliness were great, staff were very friendly and the breakfast was one of the best we have ever had. Would definitely recommend this hotel and we look forward to visiting again.

Friendly and informative staff team. Some noise from afternoon children's party, however team clear on time of party and when it would finish, Lovely food throughout the stay.

Staff were excellent, in particular Reece. Nothing was too much trouble. He went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed
