Last minute trip, it was affordable and within walking distance to everything.

No air conditioning. Slider broken on one of the windows so we could only open one window. It was warm

My boyfriend and I got to this location pretty early, the owners saw us and offered the $5 voucher for the beach which gave us full day access without paying $30. They were super sweet to provide that to us even though we hadn't checked in just yet. The room was really clean and the bed was pretty comfortable. When we checked out we went to a different beach, about 2 hours later we were heading out and I realized I forgot my sweater. I went to the front and they allowed me to go back to grab it which was awesome. 10/10 we will be coming back, we want to come back during the winter. Has the vibes for a nice snowy night :).

The room was dirty, the air conditioner didn't work, give us 2 fans but they were so dirty it was working but no air coming out, I was booked for two nights but we stayed one night

Carpet was bit dirty but not a big deal. Everything else was fine. Planning to go back next time.

The property has been updated nicely…great interior colors, tile work, and appointments in the room. There were a cobwebs and little spiders inside which freaked out my daughter. The exterior of the property was not kept up as well. The pool and spa were not open, there were Christmas candy cane lights still up and landscape needs some work.

Cable didn't work. No air conditioner. 1 small fan and 1 small ceiling fan took all night to cool down room and it was still warmer then outside. Place was trash. Stay somewhere else.

It was a nice hotel, but the front desk was not open. You needed someone you had to ring the Ring doorbell and even then they didn’t come out. You get free vouchers for Lakeside Beach but when I checked in I never was told or received them.

Prety sure we had roaches(she said they were just beetles) and the tv only played disney channel. No ac but extremely convenient location in south lake tahoe roght next to the beach and strip

Horrible hotel the shower didn't work and the property attendant didnt fix yhe problem. Didnt move us to a diffraction room. We paid for a hotel and nothing in the room worked. Very disappointing and a waste of monet

Staff was fantastic! Location was walkable to everything. No AC and parking is a challenge - both par for the course in the area. But I'd stay again.

The heat never worked, it was a thermostat on the opposite side of a built in fireplace, we adjusted the thermostat but, the fireplace never came on. It was the only source of heat. Judging by how it was mounted on the wall, I suspect there was no connection between the two.
Then, it took 10 minutes of running the hot water, just to get luke warm water for a shower.
And, the room had a strong smell of curry.

This property was remodeled 12 years ago by old owner. Needs updating. Great for ski access, casinos.

There was no soap in the bathroom to take to wash with, and they were guest screaming from 230 till 3:30 in the morning and making a lot of noise

The staff was amazing. Very kind, prompt, available, etc. The staff is doing the best they can. The property management or the owners should invest money to replace the gross carpets, steam clean, fix the pool, maintenance, fire pit, etc. it is run down. The place is in a great location, great size room, etc. smells like urine and terrible due to gross carpet. Staff and cleaning people do the best they can but they can’t replace carpets and old dirty furniture.

I left my duffel bag at in my room and when I called them they said they will call me back and they never did. When I called them the 2nd time they never picked up.

I loved our stay! We were walking distance from amazing area of South Lake Tahoe. Staff was friendly. Room was nice and very comfortable. We were able to walk to Nevada and enjoy the Casinos. Loved our stay! This is the place we would stay again and again when we visit Tahoe.

The property was close to the main highway with shops and dining. Also close to the concert venue at Harvey's. We didn't use our rental car the entire time of our stay.
The property was very fatigued and borderline rundown. The front door lock was loose, the room was shabby, one of the windows wouldn't open, and the shower initially took 10 minutes to warm up. The TV remote worked intermittently. The pool was emptied even though it was summer and the Jacuzzi area was closed.
I'd put this possibly in the 2 star rating because there were no bugs in the room, though my wife wouldn't touch the carpet without shoes on.
The manager at check was nice and efficient and I did get additional pillows immediately upon request.

Very outdated room, horrible old dirty smelly carpet. You could hear every step on the room upstairs, I stayed there two nights, I asked for the room to be cleaned and they never did

Very nice 1960’s property. No AIr conditioning, Pool and jacuzzi not working. But very quiet and private. The 1960’s ice machine is worth its weight in gold. Manager and family are super helpful
