1 night stay , very helpful and polite staff, nice clean room with tea and coffee, quiet. Food really nice in the bar.

Poor service quality and rooms above average (noisy, outdated, shower broken, sofa broken, not nicely cleaned) poor restaurant choices and expensive and on top of that poor service at the reception (never got my invoice despite multiple requests and calls...) so long story short maybe ok for one night and if you are used to rel 4-stars hotel don't go there.

Our 3rd stay, great location, amazing staff

This hotel was very friendly, even before my stay I called and they were happy to assist with what is around the area and accurate with expected time it would take to get there. The room was clean, but it did show wear in the bathroom. I would suggest the breakfast. Many choices and tasty. I really can not say enough about the staff. They made my stay.

Smooth check in process. Git really noisy outside most of the night but maybe to be expected on a Friday night.Strangely they highlight 3 car parks when there is another just around the corner at King St. road. Breakfast was good, a reasonable selection which was regularly replenished.

Room is clean and comfort. Very near the town centre in walking distance.

This is a well located, friendly but over priced and in poor condition hotel. The staff are wonderful, but the rooms are in a real need of updating / repair. The room didn’t feel clean at all. The breakfast was pretty poor, but edible. For the money I expected so much more given the part of the world it is in.

The room doors on level 2 are hard to close. That you end up having to slam them shut, which is something that I don’t like to do. Also the noise outside of some kind of delivery at 6am this morning really was hard to accept when you want a bit of a lie in.

Everything was great! The rooms are nice-sized, and clean. The front desk staff Lewis was extremely helpful with handling a few things we needed. The restaurant food was delicious. Will definitely stay here again if I’m in the area.

Nice staff and service, good breakfast, hotel rooms are very basic and a bit dated for price. Clean but nothing special. Road outside can be a bit noisy and room sound insulation not the best.

Spacious Rooms Helpful Staff

Excellent, we were upgraded to executive room as a treat Lewis on the desk was so helpful and friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Location perfect and just what we needed for theatre and town visit.

Staff were absolutely fantastic at night! Had an issue with an Uber eats order and the night receptionist allowed me to have a Ben and Jerry's ice cream free of charge! Fantastic hotel fantastic staff!

We had a really nice stay. The staff were very helpful. Our on criticism was at 1:30am there were people in the corridor talk and it sounded like they were in the room. Not great sound proofing and they was out there for an hour felt like they should have been moved on by staff.

The walls were paper thin. The bathroom is long overdue an update.

Staff service is friendly. Very limited on food selection at the hotel and surrounding. The bathroom in the room is old and doesn’t look clean and dark.

Stayed overnight waiting to depart for cruise . The room was comfortable and clean. Mini frig offered water and soft drinks . Coffee tea and espresso in room also. Breakfast was hot with eggs, bacon, sausage,veggies and fruit. Also had bagels muffins and croissants . Had a nice bar and food from restaurant looked good but we did not eat there. Close to park and city center with lots of shopping and restaurants . Went to a great family Italian restaurant named Piccolo Mondo. Short taxi ride to port cost around 11.50 GBP. Would stay here again.

Excellent staff and convenient location

Parking is very inconvenient and expensive! Beware. You'll have to park in 3 different garages which can charge about ~ 11- 16 pounds for overnight parking... all options about 10 minute walk from the hotel. Our bathroom door had a hole in it from where they moved the handle... didn't bother to patch it up. Reported suspicions of the door lock running out of battery because our key cards were not working. We were told that it was because we put our keycards too close to our phones or other electromagnetic fields (plausible.. but really?). Had our keycards reset twice, but no fix. We were told someone would fix it at 9 am... left for the day, came back at 6pm and still not fixed. Had to go to the front desk again and then they finally sent someone to fix it as we were completely locked out... seems like other people had the same issue :( All in all : The location is very convenient and the staff were friendly. Hotel restaurant food was quite good, many people seemed to dine there. maintenance guy who fixed the door lock was nice. But given the condition of the place and the overall experience not sure this place is a 4 star hotel. Maybe 2 or 3.

The hotel was good for one night. They have a restaurant and a breakfast area. The hotel is in an area where it is difficult to walk to any place.

Decent. Shower curtain too short. Pillows uncomfortable, but quiet room and clean.

Lovely stay for last minute bookings, quiet when inside and respectful staff

Drop off very difficult if arriving by car due to there being just two parking spaces and a £100 penalty for overstaying beyond 15 minutes administered by your friendly parking management company On balance best avoided.

Lewis checked us in and was such a pleasant man, kind and welcoming. He gave us a free upgrade to our room as we had a long and somewhat difficult journey, he ensured that everything was smooth and we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast buffet was quite good also. The room was very comfortable, bed and pillows were great, and amenities lovely. Definitely recommend it and will stay here again in the future!
