I’m so glad I chose this hotel for my solo getaway!!! Josh kindly greeted me at the front counter and got me a room with such a wonderful city and ocean view. I booked the king room with the fireplace. The bed was so comfortable. I love the fact the tub and shower are separate; I love a good bubble bath. The only downer was there wasn’t a fridge or microwave. However, they have a fridge but it’s basically a minibar stocked with alcohol and soda. The pool and hot tub weren’t lit up like I’ve seen in other pictures but it still was nice. I got one drink from the bar downstairs, Continental Drift, it was good. Everything is near by so no need to really drive anywhere. The aquarium is just a few feet away. Valet/Self Parking $45 a night plus tax though. Costly but I felt catered to, especially while being on a solo get away. While staying here, I checked out Point Lobos. Great trails for hiking! Definitely will be staying here again and will actually try the C restaurant to check out the food!!

Although I rarely take the time to write reviews, I felt it necessary to share my disappointment with this stay. For the price, this hotel did not meet the standards expected of an upscale experience. The service fell short, and overall, the stay lacked the quality and comfort one would anticipate at this price point. Regrettably, I cannot recommend this hotel.

I’m unhappy with a pending charge that was charged prior to arrival. It holds up money for several business days, until cleared. I opted to pay at property and in all my stays for years, have never had this happen.

Everything was excellent except for the valet, after we called to have our car ready and, they took a half hour to get my car and said my car was on its way, but on my app it showed my truck was not even started. End up being late to the wedding. For a family of four my kids were fine on the bed, but my wife and I did not fit on the bed. Beds are too small, but staff was really friendly. You should have options for bigger beds.

It was nice. I requested an ocean view to start, upon arrival our room was not an ocean view so we had to change rooms. Room was clean nothing “premier” about it for almost $800/night. Just love the ocean.

This hotel was perfect for our stay. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating.
The rooms are very clean. The view was delightful. We watched whales, dolphins and sea lions journeying up and down the coast.
The location is ideal, within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
I highly recommend this place and I can’t wait to go back!

This hotel has very inconvenient parking. Valet parking comes with a fee, and it takes too long to get your car when requested from the valet. The facilities are very outdated, and the soundproofing is terrible. The noise from the shower is loud enough to be disturbing. I even woke up in the middle of the night because of the sound of water from someone else’s shower. I don’t have any desire to return to this hotel.

The people above us have child/children that are running back and forth and jumping off the furniture. We called twice to the desk and they said they actually went to the room but it didn’t stop till 9:00. Started again at 6:15 am. The insulation between the ceiling and floors is inadequate and no solution was provided.

The service was excellent. The hotel and restaurant are overpriced. Don’t waste your money on a room with water view - you will be heavily charged for a peek of water only visible from the far corner of the room. Feels like dishonesty on their part.
