Fantastic stay, went out of the way to make breakfast early for me due to an early start. Offered parking for the day after my stay. Kind hosts and lovely hotel, would use again.

Was a very relaxing stay. Gary & Phillip were great hosts, room was spotless and breakfast brilliant. Room was large and comfortable and the bar area was relaxing. Seating outside great with a view looking out to the sea.

Lovely welcoming hosts. The Torcroft is a very charming character property. Our rooms were not big, however they were tastefully decorated and had everything you need. Excellent breakfast. I would stay again if we were again in Torbay.

It is a beautiful property and the hosts were really friendly and accommodating. The bar area is lovely, a delightful place to spend a quiet evening. The breakfast is excellent. The property is in really good condition and is spotlessly clean.

Everything was perfect. The Torcroft was a great place to stay, the room was very nice with a lovely balcony. The people running it were super helpful and friendly. Can't fault it in anyway. Will book again when staying in Torquay.

We stayed the night before a family holiday in Brixham. The staff, Phil and Gary, were brilliant - great advice on local attractions. Service was spot on and we have no reservations about recommending. Food was excellent. Planning to return. 👍

From being greeted at the front door to the end of our stay, everything was faultless. The room was fantastic, spacious and equipped with everything you'd need. A lovely bathroom, with both bath and shower. Very comfortable, we only wish we had longer to stay.

Excellent location close to the beach, short walk to the harbour and staff very friendly and full of local knowledge. I would recommend staying here. Breakfast is excellent too.

What a wonderful find. Superb boutique hotel with fabulous hosts, wonderful breakfast, great little bar and a super terrace. No hesitation in recommending and 100% use again. Just a few minutes walk to the sea and harbour and free parking. Happy days.

What a gem of a place to stay in Torquay, great location plenty of parking 5-10 minutes walk to beach and eating places. Gary and Philip were extremely friendly and helpful especially as we had neve been to the area before. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable with the bonus of a balcony with lovely seating to enjoy the view. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choices and all fresh and delicious ingredients. We will definitely be using again in the future.

Lovely Accommodation. So beautifully decorated throughout and Gary could not have been more accommodating. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The free parking was definitely a plus and the location is just a short walk from the quays. Breakfast was delicious and the service was exceptional. Staff were very friendly and attentive. I would 110% recommend.

From the friendly greeting from Gary on arrival to the tasty cooked breakfast prior to departure, everything was excellent about the Torcroft. Room was spacious and clean, bed very comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. Will definitely be back.

Stayed at the beautiful Torcroft hotel for 4 nights. The room was very clean and just perfect Breakfast was amazing, everything so fresh and cooked to perfection, great poached eggs Gary!! Philip and Gary were so tentative to our every needs and took time to give us on information where to go while our stay. Just fabulous hosts. Everything was very clean and in excellent condition. The owners were great, and all the staff were great at their jobs. Very comfortable bed and a great selection of teas etc in the room. We would definitely stay again, and recommend.

Very friendly welcome and interaction with the hosts. We paid for a suite , large spacious room with an excellent shower. Only points that would make us return to this suite again , paying extra would be a iron & board , blinds on the window as extra blackout and better quality pillows. Very friendly and attentive.

King sized bed in suite with bath & large modern rainforest shower - room surpassed expectations. Really had a wow factor! The owners were very friendly & chatty. Very clean. The dining room & lounge (with bar) were beautiful. Breakfast good quality ingredients & cooked to order. Car park free but a bit tight- best to reverse in!

From start to finish everything was PERFECT! Gary and Phil are incredible hosts and the house/hotel is so beautiful I arrived with a migraine and Gary was so caring and made up my room for early check in, nothing was a problem and the care I received will never be forgotten. When I perked up my partner and I enjoyed relaxing in the warm beautifully decorated welcoming lounge and had a wonderful relaxing evening. Gary and Phil are one of a kind when it comes to hosting. Never have we received such wonderful hospitality. And the breakfast is unbelievable and again never have we had such a tasty (locally produced ingredients) breakfast. The care in the detail leads to obvious perfection! Literally from welcome to incredible bedsheets, cleanliness, comfortable bed, generosity, warmth a beautiful dod called Minka, and breakfast! Thank you Gary and Phil we will be back without a doubt!

I had a lovely time staying at this hotel. The town centre is about 5 minutes walk from the hotel and the 2 gentleman who run the hotel (Gary and Philip) were great hosts. I enjoyed the breakfasts too.

The plan was to park the car on arrival and not use it until we left. I didn't realise Torquay had so many hills, but hey, it's good for you, right? There's a bit of a climb to walk from the seafront up to The Torcroft, but it is SO worth it, because the B&B is amazing. It's more like a boutique hotel to look at, but you get the total warmth and care of being in someone's home, because it is Gary & Philip's home (well, it's Minka the dog's home, but the guys take care of everything). There's a breakfast room that makes you think you're in a Jane Austen novel (or Bridgerton for you young 'uns) and a beautiful lounge/bar for lazy afternoons and evenings after you've walked all over Torbay. You'll have plenty of energy to explore because the breakfasts don't skimp on anything (I'm torn between the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and the blueberry pancakes). Our room (5) was - surprise - amazing and it was a real struggle to get out of the giant bed and actually go sightseeing. Also - and this is key - they don't leave little sachets of nasty uht "milk" on the tea/coffee tray - there's a fridge downstairs with little thermos' of real milk so you can have your morning cuppa whilst you read Agatha Christie novels in bed (or is that just me?)
