Lovely hotel, very comfortable beds, dog friendly which is great!

Service in the restaurant was very slow, and staff not that attentive

The staff, bar area and room were excellent. However the bed was the worst I have ever attempted to sleep on, at one point in the night I was convinced the floor maybe softer. I achieved about 2 hours of sleep on the mattress and woke up in pain.

Nice hotel but a bit out of the way

Stay in general was ok. Quiet and overall cleanliness seemed good. But we ordered room service which took an hour for just a salad and fish n chips. When it can it was cold, the chips were soggy and the fish wasn’t cooked properly £57 for the two meals and one drink!!!!. The trays were then left outside our room all night until we checked out which shouldn’t really happen for a small hotel. Breakfast however, was surprisingly good in terms of options with lovely tea selection.

The hardest bed ever!! I ache all over. Duvet didn't fit the bed so made it impossible for 2 people to be covered at the same time. Took 3 visits to reception to gain entry into the room due to faulty card. Room was very basic. The hotel lacked any atmosphere at all. Corridors needed hoovering.

All good though room too cold for me. Sink tap poured water over unit instead of into bowl. Stupid plumbing

Great modern hotel, staff were all very helpful and friendly. Food was a good standard however drinks were on the pricey side. Only whinge was that the tv in our room was rubbish. Only about 10 channels on it and no smart compatibility. Other than that, fab. Would definitely use again.

The staff were incredibly friendly and willing to help. George at the front desk was Very helpful made our stay much more memorable.

Nice enough hotel but not really near anything! Appears to be on an industrial/business estate and is probably more catered for that.

the room and the bathroom wasn't the cleanest unfortunately, and although the window was shut, the road noise was really loud. The breakfast was good and the staff were friendly.

Wonderful staff, very nice clean hotel with everything you need. Bit noisy with idiots arguin (probs a 1 off) but the hotel was brilliant. Easy access from motorway, convenient quiet business park. You have to pay parking but only a fiver a night.

Rooms did not have working air-conditioning, so was very hot and stuffy in room (even with a fan). Have stayed here before, and it has been comfortably temperature controlled ok. Dining menu is great - tasty! Staff are friendly too. Unfortunately they got rid of the Pentafriends member free express breakfast to go (pastry, fruit, drink) which was disappointing.

Very comfortable, air conditioning not working, but fan supplied. Staff were excellent.

A very shabby hotel overall. Lounge area filthy with dirt and crumbs from the day/night before all over the leather sofas and surrounding floor space. Ashtrays overflowing with cigarette butts, ash, dirt and papers on the ground at the outside table at front of hotel. Bathroom: no hair conditioner or shower gel. Breakfast: fresh fruit rancid, obviously fruit put on top of the previous fruit already in the bowl so didn’t go any further with breakfast. On a positive note the staff were welcoming and friendly.

Can’t fault it. The staff were particularly brilliant, helpful professional. Going the full mile and more. So grateful, they even have a sense of humour. Thank you so much.

I was pleasantly surprised by the buffet breakfast. I had a full English, and had sometthing out of each hot plate. The room was adequate and the staff saved a ground floor room as i requeated.

Not as good as previous visits.

We arrived at the hotel and were greeted by a lovely male staff member. He was really polite and welcoming. The issues came to checking in. The man said that a member of staff working earlier had previously checked other guests in under our booking which was a little bit concerning. That meant that we had to wait half an hour to get sorted and checked in. Whilst we waited we were offered a complementary gin and free parking which was great. Once we had got to the room, it was as if the half an hour we were waiting to get booked in someone had quickly cleaned our room. When we got to the room there was a used coffee cup with coffee inside and used packets from making it. There was also someone’s glasses on the floor. This put us at unease as we were concerned as to how well the place had actually been cleaned. Another area of concern was that there appeared to be patches of blood on the floor. Overall I would say that the staff we met were lovely and apologetic but I would not stay again due to the concerning cleanliness and error of booking in details. This review is not a reflection on the staff that served us. They were great.

Stay here regularly. Very convenient for M6/M62, quiet - decent food, great staff.

The bathroom is soo out dated, tiles were sinking, mould, peoples hair & dirt around the edges of the shower, dirty toilet, seems like there was blood on the matress but covered with a sheet, duvet was bobbly, just absolutely disgusting. Staff are nice but for me, never again

This was my 2nd time staying here. The service here is exceptional and the actual room was nice too. There's a pool table in the lobby which is good to have and different from other hotels, and the breakfast in the morning had a lot of variety too. All in all, a great experience and would highly recommend it.
