Friendly staff, cleanliness and convenience. Unfortunately no air conditioning in the room.

Don't go there! I have booked a room for almost 140 Euro. When i arrived there, they told me that they are overbooked. I had to go to another hotel which was of much lower quality. Pension Andreas told me, that it has the same price. But the staff at the other hotel told me that the rate is 72 Euro.... Well Pension Andreas tried to cheat me. Further i had to walk 20min to the new hotel with almost 30degrees, Pension Andreas didn't pay me a taxi. What can i say? Just a horrible service!!

It was a very pleasant stay. Very nice hotel, comfortable and welcoming room, always very kind and extremely helpful staff. Excellent location: we shot Vienna far and wide. Near excellent places outside the full of tourists.

Overall I had a great time at this property. The only small thing was noise from adjacent room but only for a small time I was in my room at night. Otherwise the staff was very friendly and offered great advice and the morning breakfast was very tasty and wide variety of food choices for its size. Lots of good restaurants around the area and only two blocks (400m or so) away from Rathaus Platz(city hall).

I haven’t spent the whole day there but for staying the night with breakfast it was nice. The pension is inside an old building but it is ok..there is a lift.
The service in reception was always great.
The only thing was that the room should have had AC and a safe , as described in hotels.com….however they don’t have any room with those things. But I guess that was a fai from the hotels.com website…
Next time I visit Vienna I will come back to the hotel.

My experience was not goid. Rooms are so small and whole night it is too noisy from here and there. Even if tv is on in another that i was heard properly. So i was mog able to sleep and even un breakfast very less options. I will not recomnd to stay in this hotel. I am not happy eith hotels.com also because they given this hotel option on their website.

Worst customer service. Very rude managers: only the guy who checked us in is good. Morning manager person needs to learn customer service.

Good location, safe, quiet and handy fir a few pubs and restaurants and fir the team and underground also for the hop on hop off bus.

A no fuss no frills hotel. Breakfast basic continental, however lots of bread but no toaster which would have been nice to have one. Very convenient for accessing underground and tram in a good area. Overall good stay

It’s a basic budget hotel In an old apartment building,however it’s close to all amenities. No fuss no frills but it’s good for an overnight stay. Staff are friendly. Breakfast very basic lots of bread so it would’ve been nice to of had a toaster!

The look of surprise.
The moment we approached this hotel, things have already gone wrong. The entrance didn't even look like an entrance, and the receptionist was unfriendly. It got worse when we entered the dark and hot room, realising that there was no air condition. Our jaw nearly dropped at the sight of the small and dark toilet, with barely enough space to move around. We could hardly sleep with the heat and the slanted bed, worrying that we would fall off the bed while sleeping. One of my family member was bitten by bed bugs. In conclusion, we would never go back to this place with the price we paid.

There was no ventilation in the tiny washroom, which was a bit unpleasant. The water for the shower was nice and strong. The entry way to the hotel from the street was dark and dusty which didn't give us a very good first impression. The elevator was appreciated, though ancient and tiny. The two men attending the desk during our stay were both very nice, which was reassuring. The room was basic. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast was adequate. Overall, it was a bit of a 'cultural' experience.

Staff were friendly and checkin was easy, but the property is old, our room was TINY, had no A/C, two tiny single beds, and no other amenities. Breakfast was provided but this was little more than cornflakes.

Whilst the place is slightly dated, it's in a great location, with comfortable beds and the staff are really friendly

Small but clean room, excellent for one night stay. I used my Orbucks and Orbitz coupon so I get good value for money, otherwise the price could be lower. Location is also very good. Breakfast not so bad. I had some problems with internet connection at first, but the receptionist helped me solving the problem.

Looks odd from the outside as the hotel is only part of a larger building. But it's a wonderful little place - incredible quiet, very convenient to the metro, and a very nice breakfast included. They were happy to keep our luggage before check-in and after check-out so we could maximize our time. Only downside was slow WIFI. :)

Incredible location only a 10-15-minute walk to central Vienna and all the sights. The hotel itself is located inside an older building and you have to ring the outdoor intercom to be let in the first time and, when inside, navigate to the left side where the "pension" is located. Excellent breakfast served with hard-boiled eggs, bread, cheeses/sliced meat, fruit, cereal, yogurt, etc. The main downside is that the hotel front desk clerks, except for one, were unfriendly which was a disappointment. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay!

Not too far from the old town. Within walking distance to many attractions. The hotel is simple, but with all you need. The room is spacious and clean. The front desk people are nice and helpful. The breakfast is decent. Worth the budget with the location, service, and quality in all.

It’s a great hotel with friendly staff in heart of Vienna and within walking distance from a lot of attractions. You may be shocked after seeing the entrance but rooms, breakfast and staffs are great! It’s great for the price and I definitely recommend it.

The hotel is inside of a building that also houses apartments, making it unique but confusing at first.
Once past that point, the rooms and service were great. We only stayed one night and were in the hotel for very little time but it served its purpose.

I recently stayed for 4 nights here and was happy with my stay. It's ideally located near Rathaus subway station and within walking distance of many of the points of interest in Vienna.
The standard rooms aren't that big, but big enough. The rooms are pleasant enough, about what you expect for a 3 star hotel.

This is a traditional and very charming hotel in an excellent location. Staff are very helpful and the overall ambiance is of old-fashioned comfort.

I had a very good experience with Hotel Pension Andreas. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in the city centre but prefers a relaxing and quiet neighborhood. It is near most tourist spots, underground, and around the corner you can find a good biergarten restaurant and a grocery store (Billa). It is a good value for money hotel.

Had a really good time. Was much better than we expected. The room was nice and spacious and lovely and warm, considering it was very cold outside. The location is great, as you're just a short walk from the underground, which is only a couple of stops from the main shopping area, Stephansplatz. The only real downsides were lack of tea and coffee making facilities in the room and the breakfast was very much geared towards European guests. But there was still plenty of fresh food to get you set for the day. Overall we would both recommend this hotel, and would definitely return again!
